What You Can Expect

As our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director based in Houston TX, you will lead the FP&A Flexible Generation team, which currently includes three (3) direct reports.  You and your team will focus on financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting for ENGIE North America's expanding Flexible Generation portfolio. You will collaborate closely with the Flexible Generation Global Business Unit (FGGBU) Asset Management, Operations, Partnership teams and our wholesale market facing Global Energy Management Services team (GEMS) to gain a deep understanding of operational profitability drivers, risks, and liquidity management. In this role, you  will be a key member of ENGIE’s finance team ensuring accurate monthly and quarterly results for Management, Partnership, and Group reporting. You will prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews for FGGBU Management and ENGIE Group Corporate reporting highlighting the business's performance and evolution based on operational and project-specific drivers. Your tracking of key financial indicators will provide early warnings to Management and actionable information carrying the FGGBU strategy forward. This position, reports to the Vice President of FP&A.

• Manage and develop the skills of the FGGBU FP&A team under the Engie Ways Of Working policy
• Direct the development of annual budgets, re-forecasts, and medium-term business plans (MTP), collaborating with other Business divisions ensuring consistency with ENGIE and partners guidelines
• Under the supervision of the Flexible Generation Finance Business Partner (FBP) prepare supporting materials for and actively participate in partnership Board meetings
• Ensure the FGGBU’s budget and MTP data is accurately and timely loaded into reporting systems
• Identifying and implementing efficiency and control enhancing process improvements
• Manage the monthly Group and partnership reporting processes, including thorough management analysis of P&L and Cash-Flow Statement components by portfolio
• Align the FGGBU’s periodic P&L and cash re-forecasts with actual year to date results and updated business activity plans
• Support senior management with ad hoc performance reporting and analysis
• Lead or participate as the FP&A expert in cross-functional projects, as needed, which may include IT tools, processes, strategic transactions, or other initiatives

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, in accounting, finance or related field
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business financial analysis, financial reporting, or accounting
• Successful finance and strong accounting  experience in energy market
• A CFA, CMA, CPA license or desire to achieve one
• Polished executive level written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, SAP solutions (S4, SAC, BFC, Cartesis), and/or Power BI
• Proven project management skills focused on meeting multiple deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
• Cross-organizational coordination skills ensuring on-time delivery of results and presentations
• Passion for assisting management in making data informed decisions
• Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated desire to work in a time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines, potentially outside of usual US business hours

Additional Details

• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy requiring a minimum of three (3) days at an ENGIE office

Compensation

Salary Range: $128,000 – $196,765 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

Recepcionista

¿Qué tareas realizarás?   

• Responder y dirigir las llamadas desde la Central Telefónica del edificio corporativo, así como de orientar y proporcionar la información básica necesaria.
• Recibir a los visitantes, empleados y proveedores, determinar la naturaleza u objetivo de su visita y guiarlos a sus destinos correspondiente
• Registrar el ingreso y salida de visitantes manejando las listas de acceso del departamento de seguridad, tomando nota de los datos de los visitantes.
• Reportar cualquier actividad sospechosa a los agentes de seguridad.
• Atender la recepción de documentos y coordinar su entrega a áreas usuarias del edificio de acuerdo con el procedimiento de PUC.
• Revisar y coordinar con el proveedor las valorizaciones de servicios de Taxi y Courier, economato entre otros por Áreas Usuarias.
• Apoyo administrativo al Área: Elaboración de requerimientos, seguimiento a Órdenes de Compra y elaboración de Hojas de Entrada de Servicios.

Analista de Control de Gestión

¿Qué tareas realizarás?   

• Entender cómo funciona la compañía y el entorno, identificando impactos cuantitativos/cualitativos de los eventos que impacten el negocio.
• Elaborar y analizar reportes de manera oportuna y precisa sobre temas transversales con información real, presupuestada, proyectada.
• Explicar eventos ocurridos, el motivo que los ocasionó, consecuencias futuras, dar recomendaciones para mejorar los indicadores y seguimiento a los planes de acción.
• Ingresar información de manera oportuna y precisa en las respectivas herramientas de reporte de la Empresa.
• Monitoreo de los instrumentos de gestión (presupuesto, KPI, risk assessment, balanced scorecard, etc.)

Wat ga je doen als Group Financial Controller?

Je komt in een team van ongeveer 10 collega’s. Jij wordt voor dit team de overkoepelende controller die samenwerkt met collega’s in de hele organisatie van ENGIE. Je bent sparringpartner voor het team en management en eerste aanspreekpunt voor controlling en reporting vragen vanuit de ENGIE Groep. Daarnaast ben jij nauw betrokken bij de implementatie van de CSRD-verplichtingen en nieuwe data-oplossingen. Binnen het team heerst een open en informele cultuur en wordt er veel samengewerkt. Je rapporteert in deze functie aan de Manager Finance. Verder ga je:

• De financiële resultaten, budgetten en forecasts van de verschillende Global Business Units en andere ondernemingsgegevens consolideren conform vastgestelde procedures en templates. Het wordt jouw uitdaging om de financiële en niet-financiële gegevens op een consistente en accurate wijze te rapporteren.
• Je collega Financial Controllers adviseren tijdens de maandelijkse closings, waarbij je tevens de coördinatie op je neemt. Dit omvat onder andere de vertaling van de groepsvereisten voor de rapportagecyclus en de forecast- en budgetprocessen. Je hebt veelvuldige afstemming met de Business Controllers voor de juiste vertaling van de maandelijkse resultaten en de forecasts naar de Business;
• Ook ga je continu op zoek naar verbetermogelijkheden, zoals het verbeteren en automatiseren van processen en financiële rapportages met onder andere Power BI.
• Je zorgt ervoor dat de geconsolideerde gegevens gerapporteerd worden aan de directie en de ENGIE groep.
• Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie van de (grote) jaarrekening(en), aanverwante accountantscontroles en Transfer Pricing documentatie binnen de ENGIE Energie Nederland Holding BV groep.

Dit breng je mee als Group Financial Controller:

• Je beschikt minimaal over een afgeronde Hbo/Wo-opleiding in de richting van bedrijfseconomie, accountancy of controlling.
• Je bent toe aan de volgende stap binnen een Finance afdeling en hebt bij voorkeur ervaring binnen een internationale organisatie of de ambitie om je hierin te ontwikkelen.
• Je hebt al kennis op het gebied van IFRS, accounting en consolidaties.
• Je houdt daarnaast altijd het overzicht en bent in staat dwarsverbanden te leggen tussen de verschillende bedrijfsonderdelen (Global Business Units) en onze statutaire structuur.
• Je bent proactief, accuraat, analytisch, constructief en assertief en kunt goed omgaan met deadlines. Bovendien ben je altijd op zoek naar verbetermogelijkheden.

Wat bieden wij je als Group Financial Controller?

Wij kunnen enkel bouwen aan Co2-neutrale oplossingen van morgen, door collega’s duurzaam ons te binden. Daarom besteden we dan ook veel aandacht aan de bedrijfscultuur en (door)groeimogelijkheden o.a. door het aanbieden van een persoonlijk ontwikkelbudget. Maar ook vitaliteitsdagen en Bedrijfsfitness. Daarnaast krijg je ook nog:

• Een salaris (schaal A12/A13) tussen de €4.000,- en €6.500,- (met doorgroeimogelijkheden). Inschaling is afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring op basis van een fulltime dienstverband;
• 25 vakantiedagen, 13 ADV dagen en 3 ½ vitaliteitsdagen (o.b.v. een fulltime dienstverband);
• Vakantietoeslag van 8% en eindejaarsuitkering van 4,5%;
• Werkgevers bijdrage Benefit Budget van 1,8% van het bruto maandsalaris;
• Een pensioenregeling bij het ABP waarvan wij 70% van de kosten op ons nemen;
• Korting op je energiecontract met 100% groene stroom van ENGIE;
• Een persoonlijk ontwikkelbudget van € 500,- per jaar, welke je drie jaar mag opsparen tot maximaal € 1.500,-.

En die goede werk-privé balans? De mogelijkheid om hybride te werken, draagt daar met een laptop, telefoon en uitrusting voor een ergonomische ingerichte thuiswerkplek natuurlijk aan bij.

What you will do:

Sustainability:

• Sustainability Strategy and policies;
  • Contribute to the conception of ESG strategies, policies, action plans, targets and methodology collectively with Chief Sustainability Officer
  • Be accountable for the deployment of the environmental and societal policies, action plans and targets (climate and nature trajectories, climate budgets, nature plans, adaptation plans and societal plans)
  • Ensure a global view on all ESG topics and coordinate with the other Filières (such as Procurement, HR, Business Ethics, Health & Safety etc).

Project management:

• Ensure end-to-end project management or involvement, support and dedicated deliverables in Group projects (time, resources, costs, change management, risks, etc);
• Contribute to the planning of medium and long-term projects in which the company is involved;
• Provide support (management consulting) and use project management knowledge (estimation of deadlines, costs, resources and execution, monitoring, analysis and identification of causes, corrective measures, reporting) in order to implement strategic projects;
• Report the status and key objectives of the projects they manage to the management.
• Support Project Development in mapping environmental and societal impacts through licensing and permits, ESIA evaluation, construction management,
• Ensure that all environmental studies adhere to local, regional, and national environmental regulations and standards 
• Integrate environmental considerations thanks to the collaboration with technical project managers, engineers and environmental consultants
• Review and maintain accurate records of environmental studies
• Assist in stakeholder engagement activities by providing technical expertise and addressing environmental concerns raised by environmental agencies and government bodies
• Ensure that specific issues, such as local communities, indigenous people, affected communities, are correctly managed

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

• Higher education completed with a bachelor degree
• Relevant experience in the ESG field (regulations, standards, etc)
• Min 5 years experience in areas such as: project management, audit or consultancy, business controlling or operations.

Ce vei face:

• Vei asigura scanarea diverselor documente aferente dosarului de personal pentru personalul angajat/fost angajat al Grupului de companii ENGIE România (CIM, fișa post, AA, acte studii) pentru arhivare electronică;
• Vei organiza și arhiva electronic documentele aferente dosarului de personal pentru o evidență corectă, accesibilitate și păstrare în siguranță;
• Vei identifica și colecta din arhiva de personal informații relevante (ștate de plată și documente din dosarul de personal) necesare adeverintelor de vechime și de sporuri angajații/ foștii angajați ai Grupului de companii ENGIE România;
• Vei verifica datele necesare și vei asigura întocmirea adeverintelor de vechime/ sporuri/ venituri brute pentru personalul angajat/fost angajat al Grupului de companii ENGIE România necesare dosarului de pensionare/ recalculare pensie;
• Vei asigura completarea/ întocmirea diverselor adeverințe solicitate de către angajați (pentru medic, care atestă calitatea de salariat, de șomaj, pentru credite bancare, de venit etc.);
• Vei elabora răspunsuri pentru diverse solicitări ale angajaților/ foștilor angajați ai Grupului de companii ENGIE România.

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

• Studii medii finalizate, cu diplomă de bacalaureat;
• Experiență de minimum 3 ani într-o activitate similară;
• Cunoștințe operare MS Office (Word, Excel) – nivel mediu;
• Cunoștințe de legislația muncii;
• Capacitatea de a lucra cu un număr mare de documente și informații;
• Capacitate de prioritizare și de a lucra cu termene limită;
• Atenție la detalii;
• Abilități de lucru în echipă;

What you will do:

• You will be responsible for the quality of the solutions delivered by the Data Science team, ensuring to the internal clients the best IT solutions/ new functionalities from a technical-economical point of view, in accordance with the company's strategy and internal policy.
• You will develop the quarterly/ annual roadmap for launching initiatives in the field of Data Science: you will coordinate the implementation process specific to the area of ​​activity, ensuring the permanent documentation of projects.
• You will have a strategic role by continuously improving data analysis models, creating a competitive advantage for the organization by using new and creative data sources and by using the latest trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning area.
• You will work closely with other IT teams (e.g., SAP BW, SAP IS-U, Salesforce, Infrastructure, Digital, etc.) to create big data applications and design the optimal architecture.
• You will be responsible for the development and permanent increase of the level of competencies and the involvement of your own team, having, as a permanent objective, to increase the quality of the services.
• You will collaborate on constructing the Data Strategy for the entire Group of companies in Romania along with policies and procedures

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT or a related area).
• Minimum 3-year experience in implementing solutions based on Data Science.
• 3-year experience in IT project management.
• Financial knowledge and experience in budget management.
• Advanced proficiency in working with programming languages, statistical and modeling packages, prototypes (e.g., fluency in R, Python, SQL, VB, Matlab and other advanced analysis tools e.g., SAP Business Objects).
• Extensive experience in the field of probability and statistics, including machine learning, experimental design, and optimization.
• Solid knowledge in the area of SAP Business Warehouse reporting, analysis services, integration services, Salesforce or other data visualization tools.
• Experience in working with Hadoop.

What you will do:

• Conduct audits identifying weaknesses in the processes under review, document testing and make recommendations for improvements when applicable.

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in external (preferably Big Four) or/and internal audit within multinational organizations;
• Native Romanian speaker;
• Fluent Business English skills (writing and speaking), other language skills would be a plus;
• High motivation and proactive professional approach, with strong interpersonal skills to deal with various stakeholders at different levels in company;
• Continuous improvement mindset and very good analytical and organizational skills, to handle projects and work under strict deadlines;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Flexibility and enthusiasm to perform international engagements (around 50% of time)
