Tu travailleras en tant que jeune ingénieur, depuis notre bureau de Bruxelles et/ ou Namur, au sein de notre département « Infrastructure des transports », le département de Tractebel qui conçoit/élabore principalement des projets liés aux routes, tramways/ (pré)-métros, aéroports, tunnels et ponts. 
Outre la conception des routes, la conception des systèmes du traitement des eaux usées est un deuxième volet important, qui tient compte du changement climatique et de l'utilisation durable de l'eau de pluie.

Profile

• Tu es titulaire d'un diplôme d'ingénieur (génie civil) ou d'un diplôme/ d'une maîtrise en sciences industrielles.
• Une première expérience professionnelle pertinente n’est pas requise
• Tu as le sens du client, tu es flexible et communicatif. Travailler en équipe te motive.
• Tu as une bonne connaissance de MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) et de MS Project.

Votre mission

En tant qu’ingénieur·e en infrastructure (voiries, tramways, pistes aéroportuaires) au sein de notre département Infrastructure, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la conception de projets d’aménagement géométrique et structurel. Your mission   

As a Mechanical Equipment and Nuclear Fuel Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting nuclear power plants' operation and long-term sustainability. You will manage critical aspects of nuclear fuel procurement, spent fuel & radioactive waste management, and equipment manufacturing. Your expertise will help ensure that the plants' mechanical systems, fuel handling, and decommissioning processes are in line with the highest nuclear safety standards.

Your key responsibilities  

• Drafting of requests for quotation, bid evaluation and Customer support for negotiation; 
• Contract follow-up from the kick-off meeting to site delivery and acceptance tests;
• Equipment Manufacturing follow-up in close cooperation with the Quality Surveillance group and with the Customer;
• Supervision of interventions in nuclear power units;
• Assisting and technical expertise in support of Customers and Plant Operators; 
• Interfacing between Utilities and Contractors;
• Assisting the plant operator and the Customer in meeting and technical discussions with the Belgian Safety Authorities;
• Organizing of and participating into reviewing activities of safety files for spent fuel and radioactive waste casks and damaged spent fuel treatment;
• Participating in international tenders in the framework of the Mechanical Department nuclear activities.

We would love to hear from people with  

• Engineering degree, preferably in mechanics or electro-mechanics - nuclear engineering degree or similar education path is a strong advantage;

Your mission 

As Risk & safety management expert, you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in promoting and managing activities in the domains 
of risk & safety during the full life cycle of assets for the industrial sectors in which Tractebel is active. You will work as safety expert on several projects in the domain of

You will:

Werkomgeving

Je werkt als ingenieur stabiliteit (geotechniek) voor infrastructuurprojecten, vanuit ons kantoor in Gent of in Hasselt, binnen onze afdeling Transport Infrastructuur, de afdeling binnen Tractebel die voornamelijk projecten ontwerpt/studeert met betrekking tot wegen, tramverbindingen, luchthavens, tunnels en bruggen. 
Naast het ontwerpen van wegen is het ontwerpen van rioleringssystemen een tweede belangrijk onderdeel, rekening houdend met de klimaatsverandering en een duurzaam gebruik van het (regen)water.
 

Taken

• Je werkt mee aan infrastructuurprojecten voor het ontwerp van snelwegen, gewestwegen, wegen in een stedelijke omgeving, openbare ruimten, tram,- metroprojecten...in België
• Je werkt mee aan de algemene kwaliteitsverhoging van de projecten in kader van duurzaamheid en milieu-impact op de omgeving, niet alleen in ontwerp, maar eveneens om de impact tijdens de uitvoeringsfase te minimaliseren
• Je werkt in een team en je bent de sturende kracht voor de opmaak van de taken hieronder opgenomen:
•     Analyse van geotechnische eigenschappen op basis van on-line data
•     Gerichte opmaak van een beproevingsplan geotechniek, desgevallend rekening houdend met richtlijnen van onze klant
•     Interpretatie van geotechnische onderzoeken, vastleggen noodzakelijke verfijningen in het kader van  schadevrij werken
•     Opmaken en/of begeleiden van zettingsberekeningen
•     Opmaken en/of begeleiden van sterkteberekeningen leidingen in diverse materialen (in easypipe volgens norm ATV127 ), alsook opmaken/begeleiden berekeningen in Plaxis
•     Advies/keuze in het kader van bemaling, beschoeiing, fundering
•     Opmaken en/of begeleiden van bemalingsberekeningen (analytisch) en aansturen en/of interpreteren en/of opmaken van bemalingsmodellen (modflow)
•     Adviseren van bemalingskeuze in functie van aan te vragen vergunningen
•     Leveren van gerichte input op vlak van bemalingen/kunstwerken/uitvoeringsmethodiek in de vergunningen
•     Uitwerken van totale concepten voor kunstwerken zoals overstortconstructies, pompstations, bergbezinkingsbekkens,…
•     Scenario analyse bouwputten/bemalingen/beschoeiingen/funderingen ifv finale onderbouwde keuzes in overleg met de klant
•     Kennis vereist van diverse beschoeiingen, bemalingen, funderingstechnieken; kennis tot maken van keuzes niet noodzakelijk om ieder onderdeel zelf in detail te berekenen
•     Adviseren van de klant, incl financiële onderbouwing
•     Opvolgen en begeleiden van de werf, gericht in functie van de stabiliteits -en bemalingsonderwerpen hierboven besproken, tot onderbouwing en verdediging, uitvoerbaarheid gemaakte keuzes
•     Adviseren van werven met uitvoeringsissues geotechniek (werven type lijntrajecten met locale kunstwerken)
•     Nakijken en beoordelen van nota’s opgemaakt door de werf
•     Nakijken en beoordelen van gelijkaardige taken desgevallend uitgevoerd door een onderaannemer
•     Begeleiden van jongere collega’s in gelijkaardige materie

Profile 

• Je hebt het diploma van Master in de Industriële of Ingenieurswetenschappen (Industrieel of Burgerlijk Ingenieur): Bouwkunde
• Je bent op de hoogte van recente ontwikkelingen binnen het gebied
• Je hebt de ambitie om te innoveren (methodieken en in het vakgebied zelf)
• Je hebt 10 jaren ervaring
• Je kan je mondeling en schriftelijk vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands en Engels. Frans is welkom
• Je bent stressbestendig en weet onder druk je focus te houden met een gezonde dosis assertiviteit en diplomatie 
• Communicatief ben jij heel sterk

Jouw missie

Als Junior Project Engineer Infrastructure binnen onze afdeling Infrastructure, vanuit ons kantoor in Gent of Hasselt, draag je bij aan onze missie door een belangrijke rol te spelen in het ontwerpen en analyseren van projecten zoals wegen, tramverbindingen, luchthavens, tunnels en bruggen. 
Daarnaast is het ontwerpen van rioleringssystemen cruciaal, met aandacht voor klimaatverandering en duurzaam waterbeheer.

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

Als Junior Project Engineer Engineer Infrastructure ben je betrokken bij het geometrisch en structureel ontwerp van snelwegen, gewestwegen en stedelijke wegen, trams, metro's en start- en landingsbanen. Je richt je voornamelijk op projecten in België (Vlaanderen en Brussel), waarbij je meewerkt aan verschillende fasen van het project, van initiatie tot oplevering.
Je houdt rekening met alle aspecten van infrastructuurstudies, waaronder ruimtelijk ontwerp, mobiliteit, veiligheid en duurzaamheid. Je zorgt ervoor dat projecten voldoen aan de geldende wet- en regelgeving en werkt samen met diverse stakeholders, waaronder overheidsinstanties, ingenieurs en aannemers.
Je hebt een proactieve houding en draagt bij aan het verbeteren van processen en werkwijzen binnen het team.

We horen graag van mensen met

• Een relevante opleiding – Master in ingenieurswetenschappen of industriële wetenschappen, in civiele techniek, infrastructuur of aanverwante vakgebieden.
• Een eerste ervaring in projectmanagement of infrastructuur is niet nodig maar wel een plus. 
• Technisch ontwerp – Basiskennis van geometrisch en structureel ontwerp van infrastructuur.
• Regelgeving en duurzaamheid – Inzicht in relevante wetgeving en duurzame praktijken.
• Softwarevaardigheden – Bekendheid met MS Office, AutoCAD (Civil 3D) en projectmanagementsoftware (MS Project) is een plus.
• Budgettering en risicobeheer – Basisvaardigheden in kostenbeheer en risicoanalyse zijn een plus.
• Stakeholdermanagement – Interesse in het beheren van verwachtingen van belanghebbenden.
• Taalvaardigheden – Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands (moedertaal) en Engels. Een goede kennis van het Frans is een sterke troef.
