Ta mission 

En tant que stagiaire Ingénieur Calcul Génie Civil dans notre département Nucléaire tu contribueras chaque jour à notre mission en nous aidant à analyser les effets de l’irradiation sur le béton.

Pour cela, tu seras amené(e) à t’impliquer dans les missions suivantes :

• Réaliser un état de l’art à l’échelle internationale sur les effets de l’irradiation sur le béton dans le cadre de la prolongation de la durée de vie des centrales nucléaires.
• Analyser les retours d’expérience des projets menés par Tractebel sur cette thématique.
• Collaborer avec les équipes d’ingénierie pour identifier des solutions adaptées aux besoins des exploitants.
• Contribuer au développement d’outils et de méthodologies pour mieux appréhender le vieillissement des structures en béton sous irradiation.

Ce que tu vas apprendre  

• Tu réaliseras un état de l’art sur la thématique, en analysant les recherches menées par les centres de recherche et universités (OAK, IMT, etc.) ainsi que les initiatives des acteurs du nucléaire (IAEA, WANO, FROG, etc.).
• Tu établiras un retour d’expérience (REX) interne en recensant les activités menées depuis 2015 sur cette thématique.
• Tu échangeras avec des collègues aux expertises variées, répartis entre nos agences en Belgique et en France, sur des sujets tels que les matériaux cimentaires, la fluence du béton, le rayonnement gamma et les caractéristiques mécaniques du béton.
• Tu dresseras un bilan des connaissances actuelles et des perspectives d’application sur les ouvrages étudiés par Tractebel à l’échelle mondiale.

Qui es-tu

• Tu es titulaire d’un diplôme d’ingénieur en génie civil ou dans une école équivalente telle que Centrale, Ponts, INSA Lyon
• Tu fais preuve de capacité de synthèse, de connaissances sur le béton en tant que matériaux, de qualité rédactionnelle et de motivation pour apprendre.

Ta mission 

En tant que stagiaire Ingénieur études de construction dans notre département Nucléaire tu contribueras chaque jour à notre mission en nous aidant à la construction des chaines de calculs Génie Civil.

Pour cela, tu seras amené(e) à t’impliquer dans les missions suivantes :

• Compiler les dossiers avec les scripts pour les chaînes de calcul suivantes : chaine de calcul dynamique rapide ;Ansys ;Code_Aster ;Graitec, chaine de réévaluation structurelle, chaine de spectre transféré
• Développer des scripts Python génériques pour le post-traitement des résultats et apporter un support technique pour divers cas d'analyse.
• Définir une base commune de scripts adaptés aux différents outils et usages, afin d'améliorer leur standardisation et leur interopérabilité.
• Consolider une version figée des scripts et chaînes de calcul pour garantir leur pérennité et leur robustesse.

Ce que tu vas apprendre  

• Tu contribueras à l’inventaire des scripts utilisés dans nos projets pour identifier ceux en commun et constituer une base de données partagée de scripts et d’outils.
• Tu participeras à la normalisation des scripts en figeant des versions et en les intégrant dans notre plateforme de gestion de codes sources (GitLab).
• Tu assureras la maintenance et l’évolution des scripts pour les projets futurs en centralisant les modifications dans la plateforme afin de garantir leur traçabilité et leur réutilisabilité.

Your Mission

We are looking for motivated FE analysts to work on the design of reinforced concrete structures of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC) nuclear powerplants, as well as our future pipeline of projects. You will provide your FE expertise to successfully deliver our projects, in collaboration with our team of talented engineers and problem solvers. 

Your Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities will include a selection of the following points, depending on your technical experience and the position you take within our team:

• Conduct and review analysis of complex structures carried out in FEM packages (experience in using Ansys beneficial).
• Analysing structures in dynamic scenarios, including for seismic and blast events.
• Post-processing data and results to deliver reinforced concrete designs.
• Contributing to the improvement of our engineering processes, including our in house programmed tools which are developed in a range of programming languages.
• Coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project teams.

Your mission

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Design Managers to work on the design of the Sizewell C (SZC) nuclear powerplant, as well as our future pipeline of projects. You will provide your expertise to successfully deliver our projects, in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders and our project teams. 

Your key responsibilities

The key responsibilities will include a selection of the following points, depending on your experience and the position you take within our team:

• Leading project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Developing and executing project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, risk management, and communication plans.
• Facilitating communication and co-ordination of information to stakeholders, including project team members, clients, and senior management.
• Supporting and mentoring members of the team, to help them develop individually and to meet our collective goals.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Supporting our Contract Managers in the preparation of claims and variations.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Supporting the engineering discipline leads, to develop training plans and strategies for increasing our capability in the UK.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate would meet the following requirements and criteria:

• Bachelor’s or master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Design or Technical Management experience, preferably for major projects in highly regulated industry, e.g. nuclear.
• Background demonstrating strong technical skills in your field of engineering, with experience in delivery technical packages.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
