Your Mission
As Project Manager in TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING B.V., you will play a critical role in managing and executing projects with a strong technical focus. Supporting the E&O Manager, you will ensure that projects align with state-of-the-art practices and meet customer expectations, contributing to our goal of expanding TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING B.V.'s presence in the Netherlands and internationally.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You provide technical consultancy services to clients.
- You review project deliverables (design reports, analysis reports, calculations, documents, drawings) and ensure the quality and technical integration of all work.
- You support the preparation of technical deliverables, including design documents, technical specifications, test procedures, and commissioning plans.
- You interface with Metiers to gather data and resolve design-related issues.
- You conduct technical and project management meetings with peers, partners, clients, or suppliers.
- You lead, mentor, and coach less experienced staff members.
- You participate as the Technical Proposal Manager in the preparation of technical proposals, supporting the BD & Sales Manager.
- You support the BD & Sales Manager by engaging in prospective activities, including meetings with potential clients.
We Would Love to Hear from People with
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited engineering and/or business university.
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the nuclear industry.
- Demonstrated experience in nuclear safety and licensing projects, with a comprehensive understanding of nuclear regulation in the Netherlands.
- Excellent command of English and Dutch (or willingness to learn Dutch in the short term).
- Strong ability to listen to customers and anticipate their needs.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in understandable language to stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and negotiating skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage simultaneous assignments and prioritize effectively.
- Experience working under pressure with strict deliverables, requirements, and tight deadlines.
