Your mission
As a Pipeline Engineer in the Gas-to-X Department at Tractebel, you will contribute to the engineering and development of gas pipelines, gas compression stations, and related industrial installations. Your role will focus on providing technical expertise across the full lifecycle of gas infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, design, construction, and commissioning, ensuring that Tractebel delivers high-quality, on-time, and on-budget solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• You will conduct feasibility studies and determine the optimal routing for gas pipelines.
• You will integrate engineering disciplines into the design of gas transport systems.
• You will deliver pipeline engineering services in line with Tractebel's and regulatory requirements.
• You will perform technical-economic studies and cost estimates for pipeline projects.
• You will execute detailed design studies and manage the procurement process.
• You will oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, and mechanical erection on-site.
• You will write specifications for pipeline manufacturing, including welding and valves.
• You will prepare permitting and construction files, managing stakeholder relations.

You must be able to manage the various aspects relating to electrical power for construction or renovation projects at conventional and nuclear power stations.

• Take charge of design, use of calculation software’s, perform renovation and optimization studies for electrical systems, in compliance with local and international standards and regulations
• Set out the ratings of equipment, technical specifications and the general design of electrical systems, including generators, generator protections, generator breakers, power transformers, MV and LV motors, AC and DC electrical boards, DC and Safe AC systems, emergency diesel generating sets, cabling,...
• As Contract Owner take charge of the invitations to tender, the analysis and technical-commercial negotiation of bids as well as the awarding of contracts for the supply of electrical equipment or services
• Oversee the management of interfaces relating to other technical disciplines or with the customer’s installation conduct a technical-commercial follow-up of contracts
• Take part in factory tests, in the supervision of on-site assembly and in commissioning tests for electrical equipment or systems
• Provide consulting in the field of electrical systems of nuclear and conventional generation units.

Your Profile

• You have got a master of electrical or electromechanical engineering
• Experience in the expertise domain, theorical understanding of stationary and transitory electrical laws and phenomena, deep knowledge of various electrical systems, ageing phenomena,…able to interpret interactions with mechanical aspects

As a nuclear trainee, you will:

• Discover the world of energy and the challenges of nuclear activities and business;

In the context of the operation and lifetime extension of power plants (in Belgium and abroad), a lot of equipment have to be replaced and will be found obsolete. Suitable replacements have to be found and tested to conform to nuclear qualification requirements. Lifetime extension plans have to be defined to demonstrate the capacity of the equipment to go beyond their original lifetime. Furthermore, design upgrade projects required qualification of components to guarantee the safe operation of the plant.

Your job as Hardware Qualification Engineer will consist of:

• Support to the utilities for the identification of obsolete components (through various methods including: contacts with the original supplier, stock analysis, etc.);
• Managing contacts with the suppliers to evaluate alternative solutions;
• Evaluating possible options for re-stocking; 
• Research of substitute products for obsolete equipment;
• Validate design changes between original and current equipment regarding nuclear safety;
• Drafting of specifications and technical requisition files for purchasing of Instrumentation equipment;
• Follow-up of factory acceptance test and examination of manufacturer records;
• Meeting experts assigned by Suppliers, Client, Safety Authority...
• Management of hardware qualification process of instrumentation equipment regarding nuclear safety;
• Drafting of qualification programs and justifications according to current referential;
• Evaluation and choice of test laboratories;
• Placing of orders and follow up of the contract;

Che cosa farai?

Riporterai al Project Manager e, in coordinamento con il team, ti occuperai della costruzione di impianti fotovoltaici e impianti di cogenerazione.

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

• Supervisionare sul campo le maestranze sub-appaltatrici durante la costruzione civile ed impiantistica avendo cura di far rispettare le lavorazione secondo il cronoprogramma;
• Verificare che il sub-appaltatore esegua le lavorazioni in ottemperanza alla documentazione progettuale consegnata dall’ingegneria;
• Verificare che il sub-appaltatore si attenga a tutti gli aspetti inerenti alla sicurezza per la realizzazione delle opere, come riportato sul piano di sicurezza e coordinamento, con la facoltà di interrompere i lavori nel caso in cui non venga rispettato;
• Elaborare il Giornale di Cantiere su base giornaliera;
• Partecipare attivamente alle riunioni settimanali di cantiere con CSE, RL e sub-appaltatori;
• Elaborare il Report di avanzamento del progetto;
• Redigere i documenti relativi al Dlgs. 81/2008.

Work environment 

The Mechanical Metier Department (MM) of the Nuclear Entity is in charge of the following tasks:

• Procurement of mechanical equipment, nuclear fuel and associated services
• Quality surveillance, supplier & repair qualification
• In-service inspection and plant/material ageing management
• Fuel quality control and handling
• Site mechanical equipment modifications and site works follow-up  
• Diversified expertise in mechanical equipment design, manufacturing & operation

Within this department, the Nuclear Fuel & Casks team cover those activities in the framework of nuclear fuel procurement and spent fuel &radwaste management for Electrabel and Synatom Customers.

 Mission 

In the framework of the current major projects related to Fuel Supply, Spent Nuclear Fuel Management, Emptying of Deactivation Pools and Decommissioning [new spent fuel storage buildings, spent fuel & radioactive waste transport/storage casks, fuel repair, damaged fuel conditioning, fuel accessories management, etc.], you will be in charge of the following activities in close relation with the Project Managers and the Customers:

• Drafting of requests for quotation, bid evaluation and Customer support for negotiation; 
• Contract follow-up from the kick-off meeting to site delivery and acceptance tests;
• Equipment Manufacturing follow-up in close cooperation with the Quality Surveillance group and with the Customer;
• Supervision of interventions in nuclear power units;
• Assisting and technical expertise in support of Customers and Plant Operators; 
• Interfacing between Utilities and Contractors;
• Assisting the plant operator and the Customer in meeting and technical discussions with the Belgian Safety Authorities;
• Organizing of and participating into reviewing activities of safety files for spent fuel and radioactive waste casks and damaged spent fuel treatment;
• Participating in international tenders in the framework of the Mechanical Department nuclear activities.

  • Maçonnerie
  • Cloisonnement
  • Façades extérieures/intérieures,
  • Portes, Menuisereies, Serrureries,
  • Faux-Plafond, Faux Plancher ; Chapes, Revêtements de sol, Peintures,
  • Etanchéité, Isolation
  • Rebouchages
  • Requis Incendie, PMR, évacuation d’urgence
  • Gestion CAD (modèle 3D) + Livrables 2D associés (Plans)
• Etudes et prescriptions relatives aux travaux de VRD :
  • Réseaux d'assainissement, EU/EP
  • Réseaux sous pression
  • Réseaux CFO/CFA
  • Circuits de mise à la terre
  • Ouvrages VRD Particuliers (chambres, etc.)
  • Terrassement
  • Voiries
  • Gestion CAD (modèle 3D) + Livrables 2D associés (Plans)
  • Notes de dimensionnement associées

Profil

Formation de base : Ingénieur GC

Nombre d’années d’expérience minimum : 3 et +

Compétences principales : GC 2nd Œuvre et/ou VRD

Maitrise des logiciels : REVIT (impératif).

Expérience sectorielle : Gaz / Nucléaire…

Votre niveau d’autonomie sera adapté à votre expérience. Vous pourrez profiter d’un coaching et d’un parcours personnalisé pour réussir votre intégration.

You will join the team of acoustics and vibrations within the business line urban, responsible for engineering and consultancy services related to the development and realisation of buildings & infrastructure. The team is responsible for the studies in

The team is composed of -specialized engineers dedicated to the management of noise and vibration nuisance and the improvement of acoustic quality in variety of projects (buildings, infrastructure, nuclear facilities, industry, environment, ...).

  Mission 

·         You assist the department with performing specific noise and vibration measurements

·         You analyze and report the measured data to obtain specific indicators according to standards and legislation

·         You will be responsible for modelling and simulating the generation, the propagation and the impact of noise and vibration in open and built space making use of advanced and specific software

·         Together with the client you are looking for the best solutions using a problem-solving approach 

·         You are responsible for ensuring that the budget, the timing and the quality of the engineering services is executed as required. You will make sure that the projects assigned to you will be executed in accordance to our quality system and our H&S rules.

Profile

·         You have a master's degree in Engineering or Physics; 

·         You have a stong interest in working with acoustics & vibrations and are familiar with specific softwares (IMMI, CadnaA, Geomilieu, CATT Acoustics, Soundplan) ; 

·         You are bilingual: Fluent Dutch / French and English;

·         You are dynamic and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

·         You are a team player and you aim at meeting the client's expectations ;

·         You are critical and are able to think out-of-the-box.
