What You Can Expect

As the Project Coordinator, officed at our University of Iowa location, you will assist Program Managers in coordinating the major activities required in project management: engineering design, procurement, construction, financial administration, commissioning and initial operations for central utility plant and distribution projects. In this role, you will partner with project managers to assist in delivering the reporting requirements for all phases of project development and execution, coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders from field level to executive, and research feasibility studies, technical documentation and condition assessments to write drafts of project business justifications for the project manager to review.

 

Become responsible for scheduling design, pre-construction, and construction meetings across the Capital Projects program and for managing meeting minutes and action item completion weekly Maintain and revise the process and reporting templates for all project phases and assist the Program Manager with the close-out documentation

 

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree; In lieu of a four-year degree, you should have a minimum of two years of construction management experience and previous experience giving presentations to stakeholders
  • You possess or have the desire to earn a PMP certification
  • A proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and other project management tools to gather and organize required data

 

 

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically occasionally with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; Operation of ENGIE vehicles is required
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfortable managing time-sensitive projects based on order of importance

 

This position consist of 10% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

 

 

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range:  $25.91 – $40.08 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
