Main Mission:
The H&S Corporate Manager will lead the implementation and management of health and safety policies across Tractebel, ensuring alignment with ENGIE Group standards, under the responsibility of the Chief Operation & Performance Officer. This role involves collaborating with the international H&S network to foster a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Implementation: Adapt and deploy ENGIE Group health and safety policies, rules, and standards across all divisions of Tractebel.
- Change Management: Drive a change management program by deploying the One Safety Culture initiative and the One Safety Tool.
- Contractor Integration: Define and manage the integration process for contractors into the One Safety Culture, ensuring compliance with safety standards, participating in the selection of service providers, overseeing induction processes, and monitoring performance.
- H&S in the Projects: Ensure that all H&S necessary measures are implemented with professionalism and in compliance with ENGIE's requirements.
- Performance Review: Conduct performance reviews of H&S Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both Occupational H&S and projects where Tractebel provides advisory and monitoring services.
- Internal Audits: Propose and participate in a program of internal audits to assess compliance with H&S rules and standards.
- Crisis Management: Manage and enhance the Crisis Management procedure, ensuring effective implementation across all organizational areas.
- Internal Control Process: Facilitate the internal control process (INCOME) related to H&S and track action plans to completion (COR5, COR8a, COR8c).
- Compliance with ISO 45001: Ensure that the H&S section of the IMS meets ISO 45001 standards and collaborate with the Quality Manager to prepare for internal and external audits to maintain certification.
- ENGIE H&S Meetings: Participate in all H&S Management meetings within the ENGIE Group and ensure effective communication of relevant information.
- Capacity Building: Enhance the skills and competencies of the H&S network across the organization.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Health and Safety management role, with proven experience of industrial site such as the construction critical infrastructure (e.g. power plants, data centers and/or other production plants,…), or operation and maintenance of industrial assets, etc.
- Proven track record of implementing and managing H&S strategies on large-scale, technically complex projects.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, communication and commercial skills.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety certification
- Proactive and results oriented.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- You are able to work in a multicultural environment and in multidisciplinary teams.
- You are capable to manage a high workload, with short deadlines in a non-mature market, while delivering the expected business outcome.
- You are fluent in English
Location:
- Paris, Brussels or other location where Tractebel has main offices
- Frequent travels will be required, depending on business’ needs.
