Context :
As one of GEMS’ front divisions, the BP Clients is offering energy supply solutions and risk management services to the Giants in Northwestern Europe. We have around 600 clients having a huge energy consumption and/or various points of delivery, and who actively manage their energy supply as it is an important source of efficiency to their business. The BP Clients is also committed to accompany its clients in their path to a greener energy, by providing green gases, green power and green certificates.
BP Clients’ digital team is in charge of the digital tools used by the various members of the BP :
- Maintenance and enhancement of the Energy Portal used by our customers, structurers, sales and back office.
- Dashboarding for our stakholders
- Leading Data and Automation projects
Role :
As a Digital & Data Project Manager, you will:
- Take part in the digital roadmap implementation
- Lead the implementation of quick win topics (small enhancement requests from users)
- Provide assistance to internal users of the energy portal (level 1 support to sales, structurers and back officers)
- Provide long term support to user through trainings, guidelines, FAQ, etc.
- Build tools to help our clients using the portal (demo account)
- Build and help building dashboard to monitor and drive the activity
You will play a key role in strengthening the data and digital culture of the BP Clients, and work closely with various teams across GEMS (power business, traders, risk, IS).
Hard Skills :
- Must have:
- Understanding of trading and risk management business
- Knowledge on energy markets
- Elevated level of numeracy and strong analytical, combined with a hands-on approach
- Data and Digital Literacy
- Good to have:
- Proficient in Python, Excel, Power BI
- Familiar with using APIs and Cloud Solutions (AWS, for example Athena)

Education and professional background:
- Engineering degree or business school, master

Travel :
The job is based in Brussels, travels to Paris occasionally.
