Context:
The Credit Energy Management Europe team is part of the Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) entity. The team is responsible for managing credit risks associated with energy transactions across Europe. The VIE will support the team in absorbing the workload due to the recent reorganization of the EC Risk team.
Role:
- Assist in the management of credit risks for energy transactions.
- Support the team in daily operations and reporting.
- Conduct credit analysis and prepare credit reports.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective credit risk management.
- Participate in meetings and provide insights on credit risk matters.
Hard skills:
Must have:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of credit risk management principles.
Good to have:
- Experience in the energy sector.
- Familiarity with credit risk management tools and software.
Soft skills:
Must have:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
Good to have:
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
Education and professional background:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in credit risk management or a related field.
Languages:
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of French is a plus.
Travels:
- Occasional travel within Europe may be required.
