This role is part of the global leadership team within ENGIE´s Global Business Support Service Line HR organization. The Head of COE Talent Acquisition is a pivotal role, focusing on the execution of the strategy for Talent Acquisition. As the owner of the transversal operational processes and tools associated with talent acquisition, you will ensure that the strategies are consistently and effectively implemented across all countries in scope. As a thought leader, you will drive the optimization, innovation, scalability, and alignment with Group stakeholders, leveraging (G)AI and automation for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness. You are heading ENGIE´s executive search, ensuring that ENGIE´s Group Managed Roles are filled with the best talents from the in-and external marketplace. You have direct managerial responsibilities for the country/regional TA leads, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, excellence, and execution.

Key responsabilities 

Execution of transversal Talent Acquisition Strategies

  • Take ownership of the execution of talent acquisition strategies, utilizing (G)AI, automation, and digitization to ensure they are consistently and effectively applied across all countries within your scope.
  • Ensure product development is aligned with business needs and that the product delivers measurable value.

Optimisation and scalability:

  • Continuously refine and enhance the process and tools to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and scalability within the talent acquisition process and tools. Drive efficiencies and cost-effectiveness.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with HR leaders (CHROs, Group Strategic Functions; Hubs, etc.), business partners, and hiring managers to understand their talent acquisition needs and align product development efforts accordingly.

Data-Driven Decision:

  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions, optimize processes, and provide insights for continuous improvement. Use metrics to track and report on key performance indicators.

Innovation and User Experience:

  • Drive innovation in talent acquisition processes and tools, leveraging emerging technologies and trends to enhance candidate and hiring manager experiences. Close collaboration with Group HR, Sezame team, IT and Digital.

Compliance and Diversity:

  • Ensure that the talent acquisition process and tools adhere to legal and regulatory requirements and promote diversity and inclusions in all aspects of the process.

Leadership 

  • Lead TL teams in GBS scope to defining product features, functionality, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with user needs, compliance, and industry best practices. Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing.
  • Act as a thought leader on all matters related to talent acquisition execution, with a specific emphasis on executing strategies using standard operating procedures, automation, and digitization.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the budget for talent acquisition product development and ensure efficient allocation of resources;

Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners, making informed decisions regarding the selection and utilization of HR tech tools – aligned with Group functions/ stakeholders (Group HR, Sezame team, IT, Digital, etc.)

Reporting and Accountability

  • Report to the Global Head of People Services GBS, the CHRO´s and key Group stakeholders on the status, performance, and improvements related to talent acquisition processes and tools.
  • This role requires a high degree of accountability and ability to deliver measurable outcomes.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR Process Ownership, with a strong understanding of end-to-end talent acquisition processes; ideally in a global shared service environment.
  • Proven experience in driving process and tool optimization and scalability.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Change agent with strong problem-solving skills.
  • A profound understanding of global talent acquisition practices and compliance requirements. A innovation mindset to stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, incl. (G)AI and digitization.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the hiring and process.
  • Global transformation project management skills and experience in managing budgets.
  • Fluency (orally and in writing) in English; French, Dutch or German desirable.
