ENGIE has set the goal of being the best energy transition utility. We are committed to accelerating the transition towards a carbon-neutral world and we have set our targets accordingly. For Renewable and Flexible Power, our objective is to reach 95 GW of installed renewable and storage capacity by 2030. Our ambition is to deliver greener, affordable, and smarter electrons that bring real added value to the existing system. To achieve this, we will deploy an ambitious investment plan of 21 to 24 billion euros over the next three years.
Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory (“AIFA”) play a key role in major transactions and strategic initiatives of the Group by supporting ENGIE’s growth ambitions while protecting long-term shareholder value creation objectives. Our role is to provide valuation, financing and structuring guidance throughout the business development process and to secure the most competitive sources of funding for our projects. While regional AIFA teams are integrated in the regional hubs and support all GBUs in their geographies, they closely work with the AIFA GBU Renewable and Flexible Power team for matters related to the development, investment and financing activities. Therefore, the team led by the Head of AIFA GBU Renewable and Flexible Power (Head of AIFA R&F GBU) covers all geographies and is the connector between AIFA and the CFO of the GBU.
