🔑 Role Overview:
As an I2P Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring that ENGIE’s Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) processes are not only strong and compliant with regulations but also optimized for efficiency and digital transformation. This position reports to the P2P GPO and leads a team of international experts in I2P processes. You’ll be at the forefront of solving complex challenges, driving improvements, and fostering collaboration across diverse teams, all while ensuring alignment with ENGIE’s global goals.


🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • 👥 Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire the I2P team to maintain a positive, productive work culture.
    • Ensure the efficient allocation of resources and team workload to meet business goals.
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration for team growth and continuous improvement.
  • ⚙️ Process Ownership and Optimization:
    • Own and drive continuous improvement of I2P processes and systems (IMS, ERPs, automation).
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process enhancements.
    • Align I2P processes with company goals and statutory regulations.
  • 📅 Project Management and Leadership:
    • Lead complex I2P-related projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and scope-compliant delivery.
    • Track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues swiftly.
    • Serve as the main contact for audits, ensuring I2P compliance and problem resolution.
  • 💬 Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
    • Lead conversations to drive I2P harmonization and digitalization across the organization.
    • Present insights to senior management, tailoring communication for various audiences.
    • Build a strong I2P community and network within ENGIE, leveraging best practices.
  • Compliance and Change Management:
    • Ensure I2P processes meet internal and external compliance requirements.
    • Champion change initiatives and turn challenges into strategic opportunities.
  • 📊 Performance and Metrics Management:
    • Define and monitor I2P process performance metrics to ensure ongoing optimization.
    • Contribute to lifecycle management and organizational structure alignment.

📋 Qualifications and Skills:

  • 🎓 Education:
    • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field is preferred.
  • 🔧 Technical Skills:
    • Extensive experience with I2P processes and systems in a GBS environment.
    • Advanced knowledge of IMS tools, ERP FI & MM modules.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with procurement, shared services, and automation/efficiency initiatives is a plus.

    • Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex projects.
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Enthusiastic about I2P processes and always striving to drive innovation.
  • 🌍 Languages:
    • Proficiency in English required.
    • French or Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in I2P, Accounts Payable, or related fields in a GBS or SSC environment, ideally within a global organization.
    • A total of at least 8 years of professional experience, with a robust background in I2P/AP and operational expertise.

As an I2P Expert, you will make independent decisions related to process optimization, team management, and project execution, ensuring alignment with ENGIE’s broader strategic objectives and statutory requirements.
