What You Can Expect

As our Maintenance Planner I, at Georgetown University you will be responsible for reducing the overall maintenance costs by improving the maintenance planning, ordering, and management of spares & consumables. You will also be responsible for defining emergency spares and be the subject matter expert and owner of the CMMS system. Every day you will plan, schedule, and provide overall supervision for maintenance work related to mechanical and electrical equipment and piping systems. This includes, but is not limited to, generators, pumps, motors, compressors, valves, electrical controls, and high-voltage circuit breakers. And you will report to the Operations and Maintenance Manager.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You have a minimum 2 years of experience as an electrical or maintenance supervisor, or a related
  • You are knowledgeable of Maximo and MS Office
  • You have knowledge of all plant systems and understanding of process diagrams, simple electrical diagrams, and operating instructions
  • You have knowledge of installing mechanical and electrical equipment in a generating and steam production station
  • You have knowledge of maintenance requirements for boilers and chiller equipment
  • You will work with the capex and O&M teams to increase synergies
  • You will use analytical judgment to plan and perform diversified work, making decisions within prescribed limitations
  • You are proficient in Lock-out/Tag-out Electronic Tag System (LOTO ETS) Program
  • You will gain an understanding and manage the effective utilization of the company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), MAXIMO Maintenance System 
  • You will support the team with cost control and forecasting
  • You have experience with invoice coordination
  • You have experience completing order coordination
  • You have knowledge of procurement coordination; ISN, release of lien forms, sales tax exempt forms, bid evaluation matrix, vendor market analysis
  • You have experience documenting control management
  • You will assist and manage utility systems outage coordination
  • You will work with and be a matrix to HQ counterparties and on-site team members
  • You will assist with plant and campus tours, sustainability initiatives, and other engagement activities
  • You will provide ideation for new capital projects 

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis;
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/ might drive company vehicle
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;
  • Responds to emergency or unanticipated electrical or mechanical maintenance requirements outside work hours
  • Ability to meet the highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor

 

 

Compensation

Hourly Range:  $32.78 to $48.76 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
