What You Can Expect

As our Cash Application Analyst II, you will be responsible for facilitating cash postings, conducting analysis, and addressing issues related to cash applications for all cash receipts, ensuring accurate and timely application to customers' accounts. In this role, you will act as a liaison to the Collections team, reconciling daily cash postings and investigating discrepancies to ensure proper resolution. This position is based in the Galleria area of Houston, TX, and reports to the Cash Application Manager.

 

  • Timely and accurately match cash in ENGIE’s ERP system, reconciling daily cash postings and analyzing unapplied receipts
  • Serve as the liaison with the Collections team, ensuring accurate application and allocation of cash receipts to customer accounts
  • Research and resolve discrepancies between cash receipt submissions and customers' outstanding balances
  • Track, report, and provide daily status updates on all in-transit cash receipts to the Manager
  • Recommend process improvements to streamline cash application activities and participate in cross-functional projects to drive quality initiatives

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold an Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting or a closely related field, In lieu of the educational requirement, we will accept a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in Billing or operations experience in multiple markets
  • You are mathematically inclined with a strong analytical ability, goal-oriented, and attentive to detail
  • You have a high degree of reliability, strong ethics, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy
  • You hold the capability to self-motivate and work independently without assistance from a Manager or Supervisor
  • You are proficient in standard office software packages, including the MS Office Suite, and possess strong PC skills
  • You are an independent thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with others

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy requiring a minimum of 3 days at an ENGIE office
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $47,600 – $66,500 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus
