Natural Gas NYMEX Flat Price and Options Senior Trader

What You Can Expect

As a Natural Gas New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) Flat Price and Options Senior Trader in Houston, you will report to Director Natural Gas Trading and will manage and deploy flat price and options related Henry Hub price risk.

• Manage and deploy flat price and options related Henry Hub price risk
• Track Henry Hub flat price and implied volatility markets
• Coordinate with fundamentals research

What You’ll Bring

• A Bachelor’s Degree in which you completed courses in finance, economics, mathematics or similar discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of Natural gas trading experience both flat price and implied volatility  
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of Natural Gas term structure
• Highly analytical thinker and understanding of probability and risks
• Must enjoy problem solving and creating trading opportunities
• A strong working knowledge of North American natural gas fundamentals
• Clear and effective communicator
• Willingness to engage in dialogue and debate with colleagues
• Can work autonomously and be flexible
• Proficiency in Excel, Structured Query Language (SQL) or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy

Compensation

Salary Range: $146,300 – $224,135 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
