is looking for a person to work in the position of:
Electrical Engineer
Location: Katowice
Responsibilities:
- Conceptual work related to preparing plans for the modernization of existing facilities in terms of technical solutions and preliminary cost estimates for such solutions,
- Support in implementing the SCADA system, especially in mapping existing and newly built facilities, and initiating contacts with the DSO to introduce changes in HV substations (Mikronika, Elkomtech),
- Support for the Production Department in projects aimed at reducing reactive power in both wind farms and photovoltaic farms,
- Participation in preparing technical specifications for new wind, photovoltaic, and energy storage projects,
- Support for the department responsible for constructing new facilities (wind and PV farms) in selecting technical solutions, verifying project documentation, receiving electrical work, and functional tests,
- Cooperation with the Engineering department within the ENGIE group,
- Cooperation with Development, Projects, and Production departments, providing technical support for projects in phases from concept to implementation.
Requirements:
- Higher education in electrical engineering or a related field,
- SEP E and D certifications,
- Knowledge of the construction and operation principles of LV/MV/HV electrical equipment,
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in power engineering, mining, industrial, or construction environments; preferred in the wind energy, photovoltaic, or renewable energy industry, construction, or conventional energy sectors,
- Ability to read electrical diagrams,
- Construction licenses in the design and execution field are welcome,
- Fluency in Polish and English.
