Purpose of the Position
The purpose of the position is to second the MD FlexGen Mexico (currently based in Lima due to a current specific set-up with the MD Flex Gen Mexico covering the role of MD Flex Gen Perú) . The key responsibilities include:

Ocupational Profile:
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
University degree: Civil, electrical, mechanical or related engineering. MBA desirable.
Specialization in Energy / Power Generation a plus
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Strong preference for candidates with significant Business Development experience in the power generation market, including:
o Commercial and contractual knowledge of long term offtake contracts
o Understanding of energy markets, regulations & economics of power generation & transmission
o Structuring & obtain approval of strategic proposals or investments
• Strong Project Management skills and experience
• Sufficient operational knowledge of combined cycle or cogeneration power plant, including H&S aspects
• Basic financial knowledge of operations and financial statements (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)/ budget management and control
• Knowledge of the Mexican electricity market and stakeholders is a plus
• Knowledge/ experience of utility scale batteries a plus
Languages:
English, fluent verbal and written
