IT & Digital at ENGIE
Led by Biljana Kaitovic, Executive Vice President for IT & Digital, the IT&Digital function contributes to enable a differentiation power for competitiveness and growth. With more than 3800 people internally, ENGIE’s IT & Digital function is the second one of the Group and offer a wide range of positions (cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, data…). Key Responsibilities
As a part of the ambition to make ENGIE a Data Driven Company, DATA Solution offers the opportunity to build Data Offices within ENGIE entities.
The Data office is a team dedicated to assist Chief Data officers and data stakeholders in the development and application of the data strategy and to be focused as much as possible on bringing business and operational value for the business lines.
In this context, we are looking for a Data accelerator. This role is about to assist the CDO to build and apply the data strategy, animate & acculturate the data community.
In particular, the associated responsibilities include:
- Support entity to assess his compliancy about Group data policy (the reference for any activity related to data and how data should be managed at ENGIE).
- Build and apply the data strategy for the entity
- Coordinating the data strategy activities : organisation communications between data stakeholders
- Animate the data community and ensure the continuity of acculturation
- Deploy and promote the Group data analytics ecosystem & capabilities
- Support the Data Project manager on the management of data initiatives : Helping business actors to identify data use cases, prioritizing them, steering project and facilitating the communication.
- Support the Data Governance Manager who is responsible for the data governance strategy & the governance tools provided.
- Work with entities to understand their needs and to agree the scope of each data project
- Conduct research and interviews and analysing data to gain insights into the business
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, data science, Data and analytics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 or more years in analytics functions.
- Deep understanding of the data management.
- Experience deploying data strategy is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with business and technological stakeholders and peers alike.
- Excellent abilities in leadership, communication, logic, innovation, and collaboration.
- Knowledge of Dataiku, Databricks, Collibra and AWS is a plus.
- Ability to work in an agile way.
- Experience and ability in using “soft skills” or “people skills”.
- Fluent in English
