We are currently looking for a person with strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, capable of collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

You will be responsible for coordinating a team of 6 buyers and managing the end-to-end procurement processes for materials, equipment and works in the natural gas distribution sector.

What you will do:

  • You will transpose the networks business strategy in the local procurement strategy
  • You will coordinate the procurement process for materials, equipment, and works at local level.
  • You will propose and implement procurement strategies for all procurement categories within your area of activity.
  • You will monitor the execution of contracts to ensure they are completed under good conditions, taking necessary actions when there are non-conformities in the supplier's performance.
  • You will identify the priorities within your area of activity, propose improvements, and continuously monitor their implementation to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • You will analyze the budget performance from the previous year and develop scenarios for the next year's budget.
  • You will be responsible for the execution of framework collaboration contracts, analyzing and resolving issues related to suppliers, to ensure compliance with delivery deadlines, budget, and initial clauses.
  • You will supervise the relationship with suppliers to ensure the best conditions and prices for the requested materials.
  • You will monitor the optimal supply flow for strategic materials and equipment made available to constructors for specific projects.
  • You will maintain the relationship with internal clients to understand their requirements, evaluating the offers both from a technical and commercial perspective.
  • You will conduct extensive and complete analyses related to the materials and equipment markets, focused on the natural gas distribution network, in order to identify the most advantageous suppliers.
  • You will coordinate all activities related to tenders (preparation of necessary documents, drafting evaluation reports, participating in the evaluation commission) to ensure an optimal tender process.
  • You will propose for approval offers/plans/contracts related to the procurement category within your area of responsibility, in order to achieve operational efficiency (modifying existing contracts, renegotiating contracts, changing or improving the procurement method).
  • You will negotiate and sign procurement contracts according to your role competencies.
  • You will propose and manage the allocated expense budget, controlling its evolution to minimize/control costs.
  • You will coordinate and monitor the performance of your team.
  • You will monitor the performance of suppliers.

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

  • Completed higher education, with a Bachelor's degree;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a manager;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement/supply management and managing relationships with suppliers and internal clients;
  • Strong knowledge of contract management;
  • Advanced level of English;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Leadership skills;
  • Organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities, as well as the capacity to act autonomously and make quick decisions;
  • Persuasion skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
