What You Can Expect

The Neptune Project Management Director will be responsible for implementing the project plan in accordance with the permits granted by Federal authorities, including the US Maritime Administration (MARAD) and the US Coast Guard (USCG). This role involves managing the project team, including ENGIE staff and contractors, to ensure successful decommissioning while enforcing ENGIE’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and standards. Compliance with all other ENGIE policies, such as procurement and ethics, is also essential. The Director will oversee contract management, budget, and schedule, seeking necessary approvals for any material deviations. In addition, the Director will actively manage project risks, maintain relationships with stakeholders at federal and state/local levels, and seek appropriate support from ENGIE’s organization, including the Networks GBU Americas’ Project Support and Implementation team and the North America Hub’s teams.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the project plan in accordance with permits and ensuring compliance with ENGIE’s HSE, procurement, and ethics policies
  • Managing the project team for decommissioning, overseeing contract management, and ensuring adherence to budget and schedule
  • Maintaining stakeholder relationships at federal, state, and local levels, and securing necessary approvals during project execution.
  • Commuting between Houston and Massachusetts during the operational phase to ensure ENGIE’s local representation, with weekly travel anticipated based on project needs

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum Bachelor in Engineering or other related fields
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project management
  • Experience in offshore projects and operations
  • Experience in managing public authorities and a variety of public and private stakeholders
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
  • Fluent in English

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically / internationally up to 50% of the time
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $146,300 – $235,342 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
