The opportunity:

Our retail energy business has more than 700,000 customer accounts and is at the forefront of low-carbon products, services and technologies, which help Australian households manage their energy bills and emissions.

You will report to the National Sales Manager, ENGIE Retail as a Channel Manager responsible for the development, contractual management and operational relationships within a portfolio of sales partners.

You may possess existing knowledge of the energy industry, and will thrive in a supportive commercial environment where you can leverage your relationship and partnership building skills, managing a complex set of deliverables, in a team environment.

You will join a stable team -  with a great deal of collective experience – and be part of a strong Australian and global corporation and brand.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ability to identify and develop partner relationships that have the capacity to deliver sales at, or better than, budgeted levels while demonstrating a commitment to quality and compliance
  • Accountability for meeting agreed revenue targets and other associated metrics  for the channel partners
  • Ensuring a high quality, optimised  and compliant sales channel – drive investment in agent training, quality assessment and system reviews to enable best in class sales experience and commitment to compliance
  • Able to report and track results, costs and quality metrics to a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Ensure activities are identified and deliver uplift in conversion and debt profile of the new customer base

 

About you:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Retail Energy experience is advantageous or similar sales model
  • Adaptive to change and able to influence outcomes
  • Sound analytical skills and business acumen
  • Familiarity with regulated industry and associated compliance frameworks
  • Capacity to balance commercial, operational and compliance
