About the Role

The Digital and Channels Manager will be responsible for maintaining our brand’s online presence, helping to drive reputation and sales through all our digital channels.

The role can be based anywhere in the UK but aligned to ENGIE offices in London where you may need to work from a couple of days a week. This permanent role reports to the UK Head of Corporate Communications and will be responsible for developing and delivering an external communications strategy for ENGIE UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure their digital needs are met
  • Provide advice and guidance on best practice digital marketing activity
  • Set up a governance process for content editors given access to the site and ensure all relevant training is given
  • Assess our current social media presence and make recommendations for new channels
  • Maintain our social media presence across all digital channels
  • Run paid social media campaigns to target specific audiences
  • Design, build, and optimise social media content, with support from the content officer
  • Responsible for updating, maintaining and continuously improving the website, bringing in new tools if required.
  • Measure and report on the performance of our digital estate, including conducting regular reviews of usability, content, data capture and conversion
  • Improve and enhance SEO rankings for agreed terms
  • Increase the organic and paid traffic to the website and guide key word strategy

 

Knowledge and skills:

  • Degree in marketing, digital or a related field
  • Demonstrable expertise in SEO/SEM and social media campaigns
  • Using & managing Content Management Systems
  • Use of digital tools such as Site Improve, Keyword Keg, Matamo, GA, data studio, AdWords, tag manager

 

Experience:

  • The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Website management and setting up governance processes for other users
  • Organised and efficient
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Working knowledge of digital landscape and social media
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
