Context :

For the Internal Service for Prevention and Protection at Work of GEMS, we are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor. 

Your role : 

• You support the hierarchy and employees in their efforts to become independent in the field of prevention. You advise them on the identification of hazards when carrying out their activities, the development of risk analyses and the implementation of their control.
• You promote the safety culture during your daily work and help develop and maintain it.
• You will animate the CSSCTs and assist in CSEs for all topics concerning H&S in GEMS France perimter.
• You fulfil all legal obligations with regards to H&S for GEMSs France perimeter, such as drawing up the DUER, PAPRIPACT,…following up annual action plans and reporting.
• You participate in the development of clear communication regarding H&S.
• You are a contact person for staff regarding H&S. 
• You participate in workplace visits with the CSSCT.
• You carry out safety visits.
• You evaluate safety documents received and define minimum H&S requirements.
• You participate in the analysis, drafting and follow-up of the REX of incidents, HiPos, work accidents.
• You animate the international network of GEMS H&S ambassadors.
• You are H&S SPOC for GEMS International Business Platforms (outside of Europe). 

About you : 

Background & Professional experiences :

• Education in a relevant field such as “Occupational Health & Safety”, “Safety engineering” or any related discipline that provides a strong foundation

Hard skills :

• Good knowledge of French regulation with regards to H&S
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (French + English) to convey H&S information clearly to diverse audiences and being able to create training materials to educate employees on safety protocols
• Ability to influence behavioral change and promote a safety conscious culture.
• Fluent in French, fluent in English is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite, with particular attention to Sway, Stream and Sharepoint
• As part of your job, you are willing to go to other ENGIE GBS Immo sites if the need arises. You have a driving licence.
