Your role

 

You will be part of the Business Information Management (BIM) team located in Brussels, Belgium, and will report directly to the Head of the team.

BIM is a cross-functional team that is focused on supporting ENGIE’s power plants and their management in their decision-making. The team does this by turning raw data into valuable insights with easy-to-understand dashboards and reports. In your role, you will:

 

  • Translate business needs into technical specifications
  • Design, build and deploy Business Intelligence (BI) solutions (e.g. create dashboards & automated reports)
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate different systems
  • Create visualizations and reports for new or existing projects
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed

 

Your profile

 

  • Direct experience with BI technologies, such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau, with a portfolio or examples of past work.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL Server and ETL processes, or a demonstrated commitment to rapidly acquire this knowledge.
  • Proficiency in creating data visualizations that are both informative and engaging.
  • Ability to convey complex data concepts in a straightforward manner to stakeholders from various backgrounds.
  • Adaptability and results-driven mindset, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver on project goals.
  • Collaborative spirit, with a history of contributing positively to team dynamics and supporting an inclusive work environment.
  • Language proficiency: Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Spanish language skills are highly valued.
