PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Master Data Analyst role has been developed as part of our Globa Enterprise Transformation project and will report to the Jefe De Cuentas Por Cobrar, GBS Americas. Incumbent will work with multiple departments and countries, ensure quality master data across several Financial platforms, and collaborate with key users to process changes.  The main objects include but are not limited to Business Partners, Trading Partners, Projects, Cost Centers and Profit Centers.  Incumbent must have the ability to support key business users in the United States, France and Latin America in a high-impact role.  Master data quality is critical to Global reporting accuracy and must be secured by a clear governance process.  As part of ENGIE’s ongoing initiative for Global Enterprise Transformation (GET) this role will serve as a Master Data Steward for Latam and Northam and candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and English.

 

 

RESPONSABILITIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS 

  1. Under the supervision and validation of the Jefe De Cuentas Por Cobrar, you will be responsible for coordinating on Master Data Requests for multiple integrated systems such as SAP, MDG, SAC.
  2. Fulfill master data requests related to but not be limited to Business partners, Reporting Units, Trading Partners, Cost and Profit Centers
  3. Perform front end review for consistency, completeness and accuracy based on business requirements thereby preventing errors that delay reporting or cause errors.
  4. Facilitate strong change management among relevant business functions/teams.  E.g. Accounting, Budgeting and Planning, Treasury, Tax, Finance, and Operations. 
  5. Performs other related duties and assists on assigned projects as required

 

 

OCUPATIONAL PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required with preference for business administration or Information technology
  • Previous experience and good understanding of master data processes
  • Knowledge of system architecture with preference for SAP products:  S4 HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP Financial Consolidation
  • Deep understanding of the importance of master data management across financial systems and geographies
  • Ability and appetite to work in a project and transversal mode with other support functions and operations
  • Extremely collaborative, very strong interpersonal and communication skills, project management capabilities
  • Willingness to improve efficiency and quality of service of the Finance function
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other MS Office suite products preferred
  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in Spanish and English
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
  • Could involve some lifting
  • Bilingual, ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in Spanish and English
