3. JOB PURPOSE |
The Solar PV Technician is responsible to oversee all preventative and corrective maintenance conducted by the O&M Operator while also making sure that this is done safely. The technician must closely shadow the Operator’s activities with focus on the major equipment such as the inverters, transformers and trackers. Monitor and report on all events with focus on understanding day to day operations and maintenance of major equipment with a focus on maximizing availability and performance (PR) of the plant. The oversight and monitoring should be conducted in a diligent and comprehensive manner to enable self-performance of O&M by Engie in the future. This role is based in Pofadder, Northern Cape. Preference will be given to candidates from the nearest towns to Pofadder |
