3. JOB PURPOSE |
The CSP Asset and Performance Manager is a senior engineering role responsible for coordinating the comprehensive management and optimization of multiple Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plants. This role focuses on ensuring the operational excellence, financial performance, and long-term sustainability of the assets by working closely with the teams at each CSP plant and leveraging the technical and financial expertise of the main shareholder, ENGIE Southern Africa (Pty)Ltd. |

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS |
Qualification • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in CSP plant operations or similar energy sector. • Proven experience in asset management, plant optimization, and performance monitoring. • Strong understanding of CSP plant subsystems and their interdependencies. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strong leadership and communication abilities. • Proficiency in relevant software tools and modelling techniques. Work Environment: The CSP Asset and Performance Manager will primarily work on-site at the CSP plants, with occasional travel to other plant locations and corporate offices. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including maintenance teams, operations staff, financial analysts, and executive management. |
