ABOUT TIHAMA POWER

 

Tihama Power Generation Company Limited a joint venture between Engie and Rakiza. Tihama Power Generation Company has four gas fired power and steam plants situated in different SAUDI ARAMCO premises with a combined capacity of over 1612 MW and 6325 (1000 lbs/hr) equivalent 767 MWH. Through individual Energy Conversion Agreements with Saudi ARAMC Tihama owns, operates and maintains the four Power Plants. to provide electricity and steam 24/7

 

JOB PURPOSE:

 

The Head of Business Support & People Manager plays a pivotal role in defining the strategy for the departments under oversight (HR, administrative & business support functions, Environmental-Social-Corporate Governance (“ESG”), ethics and communications), translating the strategy into clear action plans, ensuring compliance with internal/external regulations.

• Lead, manage & direct day – to – day HR & Business Support activities

• Set , develop & execute the HR & Admin strategies, policies and procedures and align them with Saudi Arabia’s labor legislation

• To develop, monitor and execute the annual HR & Admin budget

• Provides broad oversight and expertise in the development of organization initiatives to assure successful achievement of business goals and objectives.

• Serve as Ethics Officer for the Company, driving forward the implementation and enormous of the ethics process

• Lead the implementation of ESG initiatives aligned with Tihama’s organizational values and those of its Shareholders, aligning business practices with sustainable principles while ensuring transparency, compliance, and positive social impact.

 

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

• Be aware of company HSE policies and procedures and follow them

• Be aware of the HSE risks involved in the activities carried out

• Complete HSE actions assigned by respective managers

• Support HSE Audits and close the non-conformities identified

• Complete HSE training programs assigned

• Stop activities that are unsafe with immediate danger

• Report incidents, breach of company procedures, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions immediately

• Care for the safety of self and also others in the company
