The role
You’ll be primary finance point of contact and be instrumental in supporting our Retail Leaders in making well-informed financial decisions. Your responsibilities will include managing risks, preparing forecasts, budgets, and medium-term plans to fulfill business needs while ensuring alignment with the strategic initiatives of the function. As a trusted advisor, you will establish robust governance, offer valuable insights and guidance, and identify opportunities to enhance financial outcomes, processes, and systems. Additionally, you will remain informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments.

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance or Commerce and CA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in a comparable position providing financial guidance to leaders to meet operational and strategic objectives including preparation of insights and reporting, analysis and integrated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow modelling
  • Ability to deliver accurate and relevant financial analysis & reporting to senior management in a manner that can clearly articulate the key findings and considerations 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities to interpret data and present relevant and meaningful analysis
  • Capability to foster strong cross-functional communication and ensure alignment on financial targets
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
