What you’ll be doing

 

Your responsibilities as Accountant (F/M/X)

 

  • Implement and ensure adherence to financial procedures, processes, and timelines across all departments.
  • Facilitate the integration of international branches into the ERP system (SAP).
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of annual external audits.
  • Engage in financial closing activities and planning.
  • Provide support to the Accounts Payable team, including payment tracking and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of financial processes.

  • Hold a Master’s degree in economics, finance, or accounting, or possess equivalent professional experience.
  • Have a background in finance, budgeting, controlling, auditing, or data reporting.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of Belgium GAAP.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of accounting and financial closing processes; familiarity with SAP and BW is advantageous.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently in an international environment (Europe, Middle East, and Latin America) and manage tight deadlines.
  • Communicate fluently in Dutch and you are proficient in English and/or French.  The company provides languages trainings.
