The opportunity:

The Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) business unit is the fully integrated trading arm of the ENGIE Group. GEMS teams manage a large and highly diversified energy portfolio and provide a range of trading risk management solutions to all types of market participants in Europe, Asia Pacific and in the Americas.

 

Our corporate sales team is growing!  Excellent opportunity for a Business Support Coordinator to join our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) ANZ business to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy.

 

This is a newly created position,  reporting to the Manager Customer Operations (B2B) , and works in collaboration with the B2B Sales team. Your role will maximise the productivity of the B2B Supply team by providing administrative support to the business operations, conduct routine finance duties, and bolster customer operations capability.

 

This highly engaged, collaborative and growing team, will enjoy your positive and proactive mindset and they will support your learning and development around in the domain of energy sales.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the sales team with routine administration tasks
  • Onboarding and managing of new vendors, including contractors, consultants, and brokers Optimise and enhance existing offers and products
  • Generation of requisition orders and purchase orders for vendors using finance systems
  • Generate tax invoices and process complex payments for consultants, contractors, and brokers
  • Maintaining electronic document repositories of commercial instruments, ensuring clarity and transparency for operation, management and auditability

 

About you:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to learn with a proactive, customer first,  mindset
  • Practical experience in energy industry is advantageous
  • Practical experience in a fast paced  commercial environment
  • Sound analytical and time management skills
  • Outcome focused and efficient
  • Solid IT skills
