Sr Acquisition Investment & Financial Advisory (AIFA Sr)

 

Purpose of the Position:

 

Lead and be responsible for analyzing investment proposals for internal approvals, the structuring, negotiation and closing of M&A and project finance transaction, and for the management and coaching of junior members of the team As part of its mission, the Senior Financial Advisor will have responsibility for the valuation and risk analysis of new projects (including review of financial models) and for the preparation of financing plans, selection of funding sources / banks (in coordination with team leadership), structuring and execution of project financings and M&A transactions.

 

 

Responsabilities and Job Functions:

 

• Manage junior financial advisors and provide coaching to part of the team in Project Financing and financing documentation, M&A, and investment valuation and structuring.

• Monitor and assess liquidity and provide constructive advice on terms and general trends of regional and international project finance debt markets and Debt Capital Markets.

• Assist team leadership in the management of relationship with leading international commercial banks, regional and local commercial banks, relevant export credit and multilateral agencies and other funding institutions.

• Monitor and assess competitors’ approaches to financing / funding projects and potential mobilization of new financing sources.

• Be responsible for the risk assessment, valuation, financing plan structuring, negotiation and closing activities for greenfield, brownfield and M&A transactions in coordination with Business Development team.

• Advise on risk allocation, bankability issues, optimization & tax structuring.

• Responsible for reviewing and approving financing, accounting and tax related inputs in financial models (where required with the support of relevant expertise centres and/or external consultants)

• Contributes to the setting of internal procedures for the AIFA Latam team and responsible for adherence with Global AIFA procedures.

 

 

Ocupational Profile:

 

• Finance / Economics based degree or a professional qualification such as CFA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent)

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Project Financing and Financial Advisory.

• Demonstrated experience in leading, negotiating and closing large-scale international / regional project finance transactions in the energy sector.

• Experience in the Latam region.

• Experience in planning and managing complex financial closing processes.

• Experience in managing people.

 

 

• Specific Knowledge / skills

 

• Strong and proven analytical skills, including proficient financial modelling.

• Strong leadership qualities, people management skills and ability to motivate team members.

• Commercial acumen with good understanding of accounting topics and tax structures.

• Sound understanding of the power and gas sectors in the Latam region.

• Proven understanding of contractual structure and risk allocation of typical contracted-output and merchant IPP projects.

Propósito del puesto:

Proporcionar servicios y datos de contabilidad financiera de manera oportuna y precisa. Asegurarse que todas las actividades asignadas se realicen en tiempo y forma en función a los estándares requeridos por la empresa. La ejecución y revisión de todos los registros contables se realizará de acuerdo con las normas internacionales de contabilidad (NIIF) o cualquier otra política o normativa interna de la empresa.

 

Funciones y Responsabilidades

  1. Asegurar que todas las actividades del proceso de cierre contable se ejecuten en tiempo y en las fechas establecidas.
  2. Entregar buenos resultados en KPIs. Buena calidad en reconciliaciones de cuenta balance sin rechazos, mantener las partidas mínimas abiertas en la limpieza de las transacciones de bancos, responder en tiempo cualquier requerimiento o solicitud de nuestras contrapartes en NORAM tales como pólizas contables, reportes, análisis así como solicitud de apoyo.
  3. Revisar y asegurarse de que todos los movimientos bancarios hayan sido correctamente reconocidos y contabilizados en SAP (Transacción FEBAN) así como mantener limpias las cuentas transitorias de bancos dando seguimiento a todas las partidas abiertas pendientes de liquidar.
  4. Apoyar en cualquier solicitud o requerimiento de auditoria sea interna o externa.
  5. Preparar conciliaciones de balance asegurándose que todas las cuentas contables tengan una conciliación en sistema Cadency así como incluir todos los soportes adecuados y necesarios para que la conciliación sea certificada y aprobada por los contadores de NORAM.
  6. Apoyar con nuevos proyectos y brindar el soporte necesario a las áreas de negocio y administrativas.
  7. Tener comunicación periódica y efectiva con su superior inmediato (N+1) siempre informando de los temas relevantes o de riesgo dentro de sus actividades o del área.
  8. Interactuar y tener buena comunicación con todo el equipo creando un buen ambiente de trabajo, relación laboral sana y asistirlos cuando lo necesiten (entre torres y otros equipos).
  9. Salvaguardar la información contable en el repositorio que se le asigne, asegurando que información respectiva este resguardada.

 

Ocupacional y experiencia:

Lic. Contabilidad

2-4 años de experiencia en cargos similares. Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en entidades de tamaño grande/internacional, como contador.

Inglés avanzado

Deseable conocimiento en: Experiencia con SAP/S4Hana, Shared Service Center experiencia

Purpose of the Position: 

The Finance Director will direct and oversee the financial activities of the all the Transportation Companies, responding directly to the ENGIE MEXICO CFO at Engie structure and across the board to the Natural Gas Transport CEO for each Transportation Company based on the relationship established at each Transportation Company in the is yours Service Level Agreements (SLA).

The Finance Director will be responsible of the adequate financial control and strategies of those companies by providing leadership, direction and management of the finance teams (financial planning, controlling, treasury, taxes and accounting).

The Finance Director will lead the preparation of the financial reports and all other financial requirements maintaining the financial compliance of the company at Legal, Financial and Regulatory levels.

The Finance Director is responsible of the Board of Directors reporting and financial planning, maintaining the Top Management well informed and providing the adequate information on time for the decision making.

 

Responsabilities and Job Functions: 

 

- Responsible of the annual budget process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for all the required versions (short, mid and long term), being able to explain the variations on a detailed and executive basis to ease the decision making and maintain well-informed to the top management and decision makers.

Propose restructures, resizing or cost efficiencies to improve the company financial performance with no risk and/or business impact. Identify and anticipate potential risks that could affect the financial results of the companies.

Ensure the proper control of the projects of the companies and their budgets, ensuring the compliance at financial, fiscal, legal and regulatory level.

- Coordinate and supervise the preparation of the financial statements (internal and external/audited) and coordinate the annual audit process to deliver the audited financials on timely manner to comply with the deadlines committed with the main stakeholders (Corporate Team, Lenders, Partners, Regulator, etc.)

Also is responsible to ensure the timely delivery of all the regulatory (tariff reviews, regulator audits and any other requirement) and tax reporting (tax declarations, tax opinions to avoid fines or penalties, maintaining the duly compliance of the company.

Liase with the external partners of the applicable Transportation Companies, being the main SPOC for them to ensure to cover their financial requirements and/or their information needs.

Prepare and present the periodical financial reporting to the Board of Directors and any other committee which requires financial inputs or information.

 

Ocupational Profile: 

  • BS in Public Accounting, business administration or finance required / Master’s Degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • Accounting in accordance with Mexican GAAPs and IFRS.
  • Taxes Reporting under IFRS and local GAAPs.
  • Strong Knowledge of Bank system and financing schemes, corporate and project finance, Insurance, Business Control, Enterprise Risk Management.
  • 5-10 years of experience as Sr Manager or Director in multinational companies.

Purpose of the Position:

Technical Skills

Cost Controller

Cuxtal II /CDMX

 

Propósito del puesto:

Controlar la gestión del presupuesto de los servicios y contratos en la empresa Servicios Especializados en

Gas Natural, S.a. de C.v. para el proyecto Cuxtal II, monitoreando los movimientos contables y los indicadores

definidos, así como las previsiones y actualizaciones que proporcione el área de nóminas y RRHH..

Calcular el Mejor Estimado del Proyecto y compararlo con el presupuesto aprobado para alertar en caso de

sobrecostos, retrasos y desviaciones en los servicios.

Aplicar y gestionar la metodología de control de presupuesto basada en los lineamientos definidos por el Grupo

(IPOS) y de acuerdo con el PMP (Project Management Plan) adaptado a las particularidades del proyecto y los

servicios que presta al proyecto Cuxtal II.

 

Responsabilidades y Funciones:

1. Administrar y controlar los centros de costo de la empresa SEGAN asignados al proyecto Cuxtal II para que sólo se carguen los movimientos de los servicios de acuerdo con lo aprobado y el origen del costo.

2. Coordinar con el equipo de GBS para llevar crear los pedidos de venta, la facturación, provisiones, y reclasificaciones para asegurar la disponibilidad de presupuesto en las distintas cuentas y CeCos en el marco de lo aprobado para el Proyecto.

3. Elaborar, monitorear y documentar en conjunto con el equipo de Proyecto la creación de solicitudes de pedido, órdenes de compra, aprobaciones de valorizaciones de contratistas y pagos de facturas en tiempo y forma para la adecuada gestión de los servicios prestados al Proyecto.

4. Automatizar y calcular el Mejor Estimado del Presupuesto de forma mensual de los servicios incluyendo información de lo realmente ejecutado en el periodo, lo incurrido, lo comprometido, lo estimado y los indicadores relevantes para la toma de decisiones de la dirección del proyecto.

5. Elaborar en conjunto con el equipo de proyecto las estimaciones de presupuesto pendiente por ejecutar de los servicios que presta SEGAN al proyecto, dentro del alcance vigente de los servicios. Incluye el análisis conjunto de saldos contractuales, órdenes de cambio, reducciones o ampliaciones de montos contratados.

6. Monitorear en conjunto con el equipo de proyecto el margen mensual del contrato de servicios prestado, documentar la revisión trimestral del margen, así como los indicadores relacionados con la gestión del presupuesto en el dashboard de control y reportes para internos del Proyecto.

7. Analizar el Mejor Estimado del presupuesto contra la línea base aprobada para detectar desviaciones y sugerir acciones para optimizar costos.

 

Perfil Ocupacional y experiencia:

Profesional del área de Finanzas, Contabilidad, Economía, Administración o Ingeniería con alto conocimiento en gestión de presupuestos y costos de proyectos preferentemente en proyectos de

transporte de gas natural.

Experiencia comprobable en control de costos y presupuesto en proyectos del sector energético, servicios profesionales, preferentemente de transporte de gas natural.

Conocimiento en administración de proyectos

Conocimiento en ingeniería y control de costos

Experiencia en sistemas ERP como usuario en módulo de control de  gestión (SAP u otro).

Deseable certificación por PMI o AACEI

Nivel avanzado de Excel

Deseable manejo de Power BI

Familiarización con análisis de ratios e indicadores de proyectos,

financieros, interpretación de estados de resultados y rentabilidad de

proyectos.

Familiaridad con necesidades y requerimientos de proyectos energéticos

y de infraestructura.

Ingles intermedio.

Mas 3 años de experiencia en posición similar.
