Our Facility team is committed to providing a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our employees and clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team and manage the development and improvement of our facilities.

 

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities as Site Transformation Project Manager

 

The Master Plan for the renovation of our Linkebeek site is a long-term strategic plan that outlines the vision, goals, and detailed plans for revitalizing and improving our site. This Master Plan serves as a roadmap for all renovation activities and typically includes project vision and objectives, site analysis and assessment, design and layout plans, budget and financial planning, regulatory compliance and permits, quality control and evaluation etc ...

 

As Site Transformation Project Manager you will be responsible for managing renovation projects. This includes planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of renovation projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

The project is situated on our site in Linkebeek.

 

You will report directly to the director in charge of Facilities.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Development:
    • You develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • You conduct site assessments to determine renovation needs and project feasibility.
    • You work with architects, engineers, and designers to develop renovation plans.
       
  • Project Execution and Monitoring:
    • You oversee all phases of the renovation process, from demolition to final inspection.
    • You coordinate and supervise the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
    • You ensure all work is completed according to design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
       
  • Budget and Cost Management:
    • You develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
    • You monitor project expenses and implement cost-control measures.
    • You prepare financial reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
       
  • Vendor and Contractor Management:
    • You identify, evaluate, and select vendors and contractors for renovation projects.
    • You negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external service providers.
    • You ensure all contractual obligations are met and work is performed to company standards.
       
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • You ensure all renovation activities comply with local, regional and federal regulations.
    • You conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols on site.
    • You address and resolve any safety or compliance issues promptly.
       
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • You maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners.
    • You prepare and present project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
    • You facilitate meetings to ensure alignment and address any project challenges.
       
  • Quality Assurance:
    • You implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of work execution.
    • You conduct final inspections and ensure all punch list items are completed.
    • You gather feedback from stakeholders to assess satisfaction and identify improvement areas.

Do you?

  • Education:
    • Have a Master’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience:
    • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management or operation & maintenance activities in an industrial environment.
    • Have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
    • Have successful experience in people management.
  • Skills:
    • Bring strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
    • Demonstrate excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Have strong coordination skills
    • Bring effective communication and leadership skills.
    • Have operational knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
    • Bring good knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards as a plus.
