THE ROLE:
You’ll ensure all tax compliance requirements for Australia are met accurately and efficiently. You’ll lodge Australian tax obligations, maintain accurate financial records, stay updated on changes in tax laws, and support the broader tax strategy of Engie.
Key Responsibilities
- Income tax, BAS and FBT returns including maintaining workpapers, schedules and file notes
- Tax effect accounting, including Tax Notes in statutory accounts
- Provide business insights and analytics from compliance activities
- General consulting & advisory
ABOUT YOU:
- CA/CPA qualified/Masters of Tax, coupled with professional experience in an accounting firm or in-house corporate tax.
- Experienced in tax compliance across both direct and indirect taxes and advising on tax technical matters in a complex business environment.
- Sound understanding and knowledge in the application of tax effect accounting and reporting.
