The opportunity:

This is an exciting landing point for a commercial finance manager wishing to forge a career in the energy industry. You will be working with industry leaders in Renewables & commencing in a period of long term growth for ENGIE in Australia and globally.

 

Our finance team offers attractive career pathways across the various commercial teams, supporting their respective business units. We also have a large central finance team.

 

You will report to the General Manager Finance - Renewables, and as the Senior Finance Business Partner, will work closely with senior managers across  Renewables, Asset Development and Origination. You will also enjoy exposure to Regional Finance.

 

You will possesses a strong foundational knowledge in core accounting processes with several years’ commercial experience, pro-actively supporting key leaders in making key business decisions to drive optimised future business performance.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • play a pivotal role in assisting ANZ Renewable Leaders to make informed financial decisions, manage risks, prepare forecasts, budgets and medium-term plans to meet business requirements and align with the function’s strategic initiatives
  • acting as a trusted advisor and build strong governance and provide insights and guidance; identify opportunities to improve financial results, financial processes and systems
  • Lead the annual budgets, medium term plan and forecasting process
  • Develop financial models and scenarios to support strategic decision-making
  • Support month-end close together with central finance

About you:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Adaptive to change and able to influence outcomes
  • Sound analytical skills and business acumen
  • Outcome focused and team player
  • Relevant experience in similar commercial finance position, any industry
  • Project finance skills advantageous
