The Role
You’ll primarily collaborate with the Retail business and serve as the 'CFO' for the business and act as a consultant to the Head of Retail and their team, liaising with various finance functions as needed. Furthermore, you will support the investment decision-making process within the business and manage the annual budgeting and medium-term planning, ensuring they align with ENGIE standards while establishing suitable targets and objectives. You will oversee the monthly forecasting process to assess the business progress towards its goals and enable timely actions based on your findings. Actively engaging with the finance community, you will incorporate business perspectives and identify potential risks that could affect financial results. You will assist in recognising, quantifying, and addressing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) issues related to the business in partnership with the country risk officer. Additionally, you will propose efficiencies to improve the business financial performance while avoiding risks or adverse impacts on business operations.
