Context :

ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales has a global presence where its Short Term activities are organized from 8 offices worldwide. From there we operate the gas & power markets twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

We balance our portfolio and the portfolio of our customers which  includes wind and solar, thermal, hydro & storage solutions and will give you a full oversight how physical markets are working and how we are evolving towards a Net Zero Carbon society.

As part of this exciting environment you will be able to fine-tune your skills in a one-stop shop to learn all about: portfolio optimization and operations, contractual complexities and obtain an exhaustive view of the Short Term physical markets.

This role will be organized in the Expertise Center Short Term and is part of a people development program were we want to steer and support talented profiles in our shift teams.

By taking part in this program and after your training and first mission in your country of residence, you will have the opportunity for a one year mission abroad in another shift team.

 

Role :

As Short Term Optimizer, you will play a pivotal role to to maximize the revenues on phower physical markets for the ENGIE power portfolio. You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering value for power production units by developing optimization strategies and running optimization runs for the portfolios of Engie and its clients.
  • Creating bidding strategies that models accurately the constraints of each asset; exploits the use of all smart bidding products available; and minimizes the exposures of the portfolio all while maximizing revenue and ensuring the physical balance.
  • Leveraging our market expertise and act as a single window to the intraday Market in order to cover the real time physical needs of our customers (assets, renewable, clients,...).
  • A thorough understanding of the P&L of every asset and a comprehensive reporting of the day-ahead activity & coordinating the intra-month production and maintenance planning

Travel : 

Your first mission is based in Brussels, travels to Paris occasionally.

Als Mechanical Design Engineer  in onze afdeling Ports & Waterways draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het berekenen en ontwerpen van onze uitdagende projecten en producten!   
  

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden   

 

  • Je staat in voor het ontwerp (uitvoeren van berekeningen en supervisie van tekenwerk) van elektromechanische en hydromechanische aandrijvingen van kunstwerken (beweegbare bruggen, sluizen, stuwen, pompstations, hijswerktuigen, etc.)
  • Je geeft algemene en technische ondersteuning aan de projectleiders en staat voor technische ondersteuning in rechtstreeks contact met de klant.
  • Je voert diverse studieopdrachten uit en werkt samen met andere specialisten in andere vakgebieden.
  • Je zoekt autonoom naar technische oplossingen

  • Je bent Nederlandstalig, met een uitstekende kennis van het Engels.

Laborelec's Metallic Materials Team is specialized in solving metal-related issues encountered by nuclear, thermal and renewable power plants, and in development of metal expertise for new energy solutions. Our primary task is to boost power plant reliability by analyzing and preventing damage, determining the life span of critical components and analyzing failure cases in the field. This work is complemented with long-term research and innovation projects for evolving (renewable) energy businesses and technologies.

 

 

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Your responsibilities as Expert Metallic Materials and Welding (F/M/X)

 

  • Address welding, metal degradation, and ageing issues, gaining hands-on experience and enhancing technical knowledge.
  • Serve as a technical consultant and project engineer, handling complex metal-related problems, coordinating inspections, and presenting results.
  • Conduct failure and root cause analyses, providing recommendations to improve process quality, plant reliability, and lifespan.
  • Collaborate with various departments and customers globally, working in nuclear, conventional, and renewable energy plants worldwide, with opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.

  • Master’s or PhD in material, welding, mechanical, or chemical engineering, with experience in material analysis and failure/root cause analysis.

Context:

The GEMS Legal & Regulation department (85+ lawyers worldwide) is composed of 1) several client focused teams with lawyers embedded into different parts of the business based on line of business or geography and 2) a functional central legal team covering several legal functional areas which are transversal throughout GEMS (the Transversal Team). The Transversal Team (15+ lawyers in Paris and Brussels) is looking for a Senior regulation and market conduct lawyer to accompany GEMS’s activities in the day-to-day energy optimization and trading operations in compliance with the applicable regulatory framework. The position is a great opportunity to work hand-in-hand with operational teams and be associated with a range of activities (incl. optimization of the asset portfolio and wholesale energy markets re physical and financial products, both short-term and long-term).

 

Role:

You will:

  • Provide regulatory guidance to the business on regulations impacting GEMS’s activities (energy and trading) via comprehensive legal, regulatory and market conduct analyses that identify risks, issues and mitigating measures;
  • Develop strategies, internal policies and solutions to facilitate market activities/ business development/ regulatory compliance, and develop - together with other support functions and operational teams - best practices in relation to market conduct topics and wholesale energy market regulations;
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market conduct, wholesale and financial market regulations and the regulatory activities of regional and national regulators impacting the GEMS activities, incl. training operational teams on regulations impacting GEMS activities;
  • Lead, coordinate and advise on investigations (both internal and external) and regulatory inquiries in relation to energy market conduct topics in respect of GEMS activities such as from energy and financial regulators, market exchanges, and transport system operators;
  • Contribute to GEMS’ public affairs position and lobbying strategy towards public authorities and regulators to build favorable market design in respect of market conduct issues and energy market regulation topics, incl. coordinating GEMS’s contribution to national and European consultation papers on relevant market conduct and energy market regulation topics;
  • Further GEMS’ interest by attending and participating in trade associations committees (e.g. EFET, EURELECTRIC, EUROGAS) and liaise with relevant competent regional and national stakeholders; and
  • Contribute to other Transversal topics
     

Hard skills:

 

You meet all (or most of) the following criteria:

  • Qualified lawyer in France or Belgium;
  • Prior experience in the energy sector;
  • Prior experience in regulatory topics and/or energy law and/or public law and/or competition law with top-tier law firm, regulatory authority or leading commodities firm in the EU is preferred. Experience with MAR and REMIT is a plus;
  • Prior experience in litigation/investigations is a plus;
  • Very strong legal reasoning skills;
  • Excellent presentation, analytical and drafting skills;
  • Ability to understand in details complex products and how the business functions from a legal and economical point of view;
  • Effective manager of one’s time and external resources;
  • Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders;
  • Exercise sound professional judgment in identifying issues that need reference to management and/or colleagues legal experts within the business unit or the group;

Missão

A pessoa selecionada será responsável por:

  • Coordenar e assistir operacionalmente a equipa da área de Telecomando em assessoria do responsável da área;
  • Colaborar com as equipas técnicas de Engenharia e da área de Operação e Manutenção no desenvolvimento de projetos, na monitorização e análise do desempenho dos ativos de produção;
  • Colaborar com as equipas de Business Development e de Trading, na análise de resultados de mercado e de serviços de sistema;
  • Garantir, num contexto de equipa dedicada e especializada na condução remota de centrais de produção renovável com especial relevo nas grandes hídricas, a definição de requisitos para desenvolvimento, melhoria e manutenção de ferramentas operacionais, de desenvolvimento de negócio e de dashboarding, procurando automatização e melhoria de processos, análise e de reporte.
  • Assistência operacional da equipa, na operação quando necessário, tomada de decisão e comunicação com entidades externas e internas;
  • Monitorização do desempenho técnico dos ativos de produção (indicadores de performance e de monitorização técnica e elaboração de relatórios de exploração), numa lógica de melhoria contínua da performance operativa;
  • Análise e seguimento proativo de ocorrências e incidentes de exploração, numa perspetiva de erradicação do modo de falha ou do risco de recorrência;
  • Análise e seguimento proativo de variáveis críticas com identificação de desvios de funcionamento ou de resultado;
  • Colaboração no desenvolvimento e melhoria contínua das ferramentas de gestão analítica das explorações;
  • Colaborar proactivamente no desenvolvimento dos algoritmos a implementar no Centro de Telecomando e no sistema de análise de Informação para cálculo de grandezas de exploração.

 

 

 

Quem procuramos

  • Mestrado em Engenharia Eletrotécnica
  • Experiência de sistemas de geração, transmissão e distribuição de energia, bem como de sistemas de telecomando e ferramentas associadas, designadamente as correlacionadas com operação remota de ativos (SCADA, RTU), de controlo e proteção e outros atinentes com a referida atividade.
  • Experiência e/ou conhecimento em mercados de energia e serviços de sistema (preferencial)
  • Experiência e/ou conhecimentos de operação de telecomando de centrais de produção energia renovável , incluindo os fatores de eficiência e eficácia económica e ambiental das explorações (preferencial).

Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in establishing and growing our biogas business in Spain. This position will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing mergers and acquisitions (if the case may be), developing partnerships, and developing/leading Greenfield and Brownfield projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Spanish renewable energy market, particularly in biogas or related sectors, and possess strong strategic, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities for growth in the Spanish biogas sector.
  • Develop and implement a business development strategy to achieve the company's goal of 0.5 TWh of installed capacity by 2030.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A targets within the Spanish biogas market.  Lead due diligence, negotiations and integration processes for acquisitions as well as all internal governance steps.  Collaborate with the finance, legal, engineering, technical, HSE,… teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including agricultural cooperatives, waste management companies, regional governments, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop joint ventures and strategic alliances that enhance the company’s market position and access to feedstock and digestate offtake.
  • Negotiate and secure long-term contracts for feedstock supply and other critical resources.
  • Oversee the identification and development of Greenfield and Brownfield projects in high-potential regions.
  • Work closely with RGE and all relevant stakeholders to assess project feasibility, secure permits, and ensure timely execution.
  • Manage relationships with local communities and other stakeholders to ensure project acceptance and success.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage project budgets, financial models, and investment plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with market entry, project execution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide regular updates to the General Manager and senior leadership on business development activities, progress against targets, and market insights.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record in the renewable energy sector (clear plus if in the biogas, biomethane, or waste-to-energy).
    • Demonstrated experience in leading greenfield projects, M&A activities, developing partnerships, and managing projects in Spain.
    • Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of the Spanish energy market (and biogas in particular), including regulatory, financial, and operational aspects.
  • Skills:
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; French languages is a plus.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to driving business growth.
    • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
    • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and work effectively with government bodies.

Son Domaine SI Développement & Communication (SIDC) est responsable des activités SI liées au développement commercial, marketing & communication, digitalisation des services et accueil client. Il assure le pilotage de sujets transverses tels que le programme Fidélisation, le Programme SI Client, la Connaissance Clients, etc.


Le domaine SIDC recherche un chef de projet pour porter la construction des nouvelles offres de services de mise à disposition de données de consommation d’énergie (offres Fournisseurs, Entreprises & Collectivités, Producteurs Biométhane, Interne). Il s’agit d’un périmètre au cœur des enjeux règlementaires et de la maîtrise de l’énergie.

 

VOS FUTURES MISSIONS

 

Vous serez responsable du pilotage de l’ensemble des phases projet :

 

-    Etude de cadrage : Construction de la stratégie globale et de rationalisation des offres MADC 
-    Instruction des besoins : définition des solutions transverses (cartographie fonctionnelle & applicative, diagramme de séquences…) portage des impacts auprès des différentes applications en garantissant la cohérence transverse
-    Définition de la stratégie de recette globale et déroulement des recettes transverses et stratégie de déploiement et préparer le RUN
-    Pilotage global de la roadmap des différentes offres : planning des différentes évolutions applicatives nécessaires à la mise en place des offres, suivi d’avancement, budget & reporting
    
•    L’activité de RUN des produits construits en phase projet : 

 

-    Point d'entrée unique des métiers, en charge du suivi des offres (kpi), incidents et anomalies, demandes d'évolutions, en garantissant la cohérence fonctionnelle transverse et la coordination avec l'ensemble des acteurs de la chaîne applicative.

VOTRE PROFIL

 

De formation Bac+5 en Informatique, vous justifiez d’une expérience réussie d’au moins 6 ans dans un poste similaire.

You manage all the IS activities related to the B2B Belgium - Sales & Customers domain. This covers a team of approximately 15 people, focusing mainly our customer facing applications, like our public website, our customer area, Api’s, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud ,... Next to that, the team also manages technical integration components.

En tant que qu’ingénieur projet HVAC au sein de notre département Nucléaire, vous contribuerez chaque jour à notre mission en jouant un rôle crucial dans le groupe HVAC, qui fait partie du Centre de Compétences « Métier Sûreté Nucléaire & Ingénierie », est en charge des activités de conseil et d'ingénierie suivantes : 
 
Vos principales responsabilités   

 

  • Gérer le projet EDF (modifications HVAC), que ce projet soit une modification matérielle ou intellectuelle ;
  • Piloter et coordonner les différents acteurs de l’affaires en suivant le processus GIOP (EDF) ;
  • Avoir une maitrise de son affaire afin d’être critique sur les solutions proposées (d’un point de vue planning, technique, contractuel, financier…) ;
  • Rédiger les livrables de l’IP et piloter les actions projet ;
  • Piloter le planning de son affaire et faire remonter les informations nécessaires au planificateur ;
  • Suivre et surveiller les entreprises titulaires de marchés (sous-traitants) pour EDF en phase réalisation et déploiement, d’un point de vue technique, planning, contractuel et financier ;
  • Organiser et animer les réunions nécessaires au bon déroulement de l’affaire ;
  • Être force de proposition quant à la meilleure stratégie à adopter pour mener à bien l’affaire (planning, coût, pérennité de la solution, REX…) ;

Nous aimerions faire la connaissance de personnes ayant    

 

  • Ingénieur dans un domaine technique (Mécanique, Electromécanique,…), avec 10 and d'expérience comme ingénieur HVAC.

Jouw missie  

 

Als Hydraulica Engineer in onze afdeling Infrastructure draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het uitvoeren van gedetailleerde hydraulische analyses en het ondersteunen van complexe projecten in de civiele techniek. Je hebt een sleutelrol in het dimensioneren van systemen, het uitvoeren van berekeningen en het implementeren van nieuwe technieken en ontwikkelingen binnen je vakgebied.
 
Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden  
 

  • Hydraulisch ontwerp en berekeningen:
  1. Je voert het hydraulisch nazicht uit voor diverse infrastructuurprojecten en bent verantwoordelijk voor het dimensioneren van rioleringen, collectors, afwateringssystemen, verbindingsriolen en randvoorzieningen.
  2. Je maakt gedetailleerde hydraulische berekeningen voor rioleringen, buffer- en infiltratiebekkens en zorgt voor de opmaak van duidelijke hydraulische nota’s.
  • Hydronautstudies en modellering:
  1. Je voert hydronautstudies uit voor diverse opdrachtgevers, waarbij je rioleringsdatabanken opmaakt en hydrodynamische modelleringen uitvoert met behulp van Infoworks ICM. Dit draagt bij aan de accurate en efficiënte modellering van rioleringssystemen en waterbeheeroplossingen.
  • Innovatie en technische ontwikkelingen:
  1. Je volgt de nieuwste technieken en ontwikkelingen op het gebied van hydraulica en infrastructuur, en past deze kennis toe binnen je projecten om innovatieve, efficiënte en duurzame oplossingen te realiseren.
  • Softwareontwikkeling en -ondersteuning:
  1. Je ontwikkelt en verbetert je technische vaardigheden met behulp van software zoals Infoworks ICM, Sirio, Mapinfo en andere relevante programma’s om de hydraulische analyses te verbeteren en de kwaliteit van de ontwerpen te waarborgen.
  • Samenwerking en rapportage:
  1. Je werkt nauw samen met de projectleider en andere disciplines binnen het projectteam om de voortgang van de projecten te waarborgen en eventuele technische vraagstukken op te lossen. Je rapporteert regelmatig aan de projectleider en teammanager over de voortgang van je werkzaamheden.
  2. Ondersteuning van projectleider en teammanager:
  3. Je ondersteunt de projectleider bij verschillende managementtaken en coördineert de technische aspecten van het project in samenwerking met andere teamleden. Je zorgt ervoor dat alle werkzaamheden voldoen aan de afgesproken deadlines, kwaliteitsnormen en technische eisen.


 
We horen graag van mensen met  een

 

  • Een afgeronde opleiding in Civiele Techniek, Waterbouwkunde of een gelijkwaardige technische richting, met een specialisatie in hydraulica of infrastructuur.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring (3 à 5 jaar) met hydraulische berekeningen en dimensionering van rioleringssystemen en afwateringsoplossingen.
  • Een ervaring van 3 à 5 jaar met hydrodynamische modelleringen, bij voorkeur met Infoworks ICM, is een sterke pré.
  • Kennis van relevante software zoals Infoworks ICM, Sirio, Mapinfo en andere tools voor hydraulische analyses.
  • Goede kennis en sterke interesse/ affiniteit met topografie en hydraulica

 
Wie je bent   

 

  • Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands (Nederlands is je moedertaal), zowel schriftelijk als mondeling, en in staat om effectief samen te werken met multidisciplinaire teams (zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels)
  • Oplossingsgerichte mindset en in staat om technische vraagstukken zelfstandig op te lossen.
  • Proactief in het volgen van nieuwe ontwikkelingen binnen het vakgebied en in staat om deze toe te passen in de praktijk.
  • Je bent een teamspeler; dynamisch, nauwkeurig en creatief
