By ENGIE - 10 December 2024 - 15:42

ENGIE has taken first place in the l’IMPORTANTE-ARBA barometer, recognizing our efforts to improve women's representation within the company.

This ranking, published by the French newspaper Les Échos, is a key benchmark for diversity, inclusion, and gender equality in French businesses.

This achievement highlights our ambitious policies promoting professional and pay equality, our dedication to advancing women into strategic roles, and the creation of a corporate culture that values diversity.

At ENGIE, we aim to reach at least 40% women in managerial roles by 2030. Currently, 31.9% of our managers are women, and we are making steady progress thanks to inclusive recruitment practices and programs dedicated to supporting women's career growth. In 2023, 35.6% of our manager recruits were women, confirming the effectiveness of our approach to achieving gender parity.

We strongly believe that diversity is a vital driver of performance and competitiveness, enabling us to better meet the expectations of our clients and stakeholders.

Being a leader in this ranking is a source of pride for all of us. It reflects the commitment of our employees and our determination to make ENGIE a model of equality and inclusion within the French economic landscape.
