For the first time in a while, ENGIE brought together its customers and partners in person for an event dedicated to the decarbonization of the industry and services sectors. Close to 200 customers and companies made their way to Roland Garros, including Faurecia (the Forvia Group), Saint-Gobain, Unibail Rodamco Westfield, Danone, CMA-CGM, as well as Google, Orange, L’Olympique Lyonnais Vallée, Semmaris, Alstom, Arkema, Procter&Gamble, Michelin and BASF.
Decarbonization is accelerating on all levels as ENGIE sets the target to be net zero carbon by 2045, with a goal to avoid 45Mt CO2 emissions a year by 2030 for its customers.
4 key moments during the day
- E for EXCELLENCE, two round table discussions with Catherine MacGregor and the CEOs of invited groups
- E for EXPLORATION: a discussion with our experts to explore the marketplace for ENGIE’s decarbonization offer;
- E for EXPERIENCE: a time to share with our customers that set the standard in decarbonization. 12 of them took to the stage to describe their experiences during the “Customer Voices” session
- E for EXCLUSIVE: with Mike Horn, the adventurer of the extreme, who closed the event on an energetic note
Under the beautiful sun, the customers who sought to share their feedback presented the flagship partnerships with ENGIE to decarbonize their activities on a large scale.
During the event, a marketplace highlighted ENGIE’s decarbonization offer, as well as its 9 solutions to support companies on their path to Net zero. As such, visitors were able to explore a wide range of themes, including how to build their roadmap using ENGIE Impact, how to make energy savings, how to benefit from the solutions offered by on-site utilities and photovoltaic solar panels, how to operate heating and cooling networks, how to decarbonize Data Centers and mobility, as well as a discovery of Hydrogen solutions.

The day ended with a strong and energetic presentation from the adventurer Mike Horn, who closed the event on a note of hope and commitment.
Turning out to be much more than just a day of exchanges, E4 successfully fulfilled its mission: to create a decarbonization ecosystem and provide an answer to the climate and environmental emergency.
“We are gathered here today at E4 to share and grow together, united by our common goals. Every day counts. We must therefore accelerate and scale up by coming up with new ways of working together. Collaborating and building together are not easy tasks, but collectively developing while sharing the risks and advantages of this transition is the only way to accelerate and push the boundaries.”
Catherine MacGregor, ENGIE CEO
