On the first day of the European judo Championships, world number one Luka Mkheidze landed a bronze medal in the “golden score” overtime against Armenian Ashik Andreyan. Although Luka lost his title, he has won another medal at a major event, proving his dependability at such meets. Congratulations. Can't wait for the world championships (13 to 20 June).

Elodie CLOUVEL is pregnant

Elodie Clouvel was on the front cover of Le Figaro last week and shared news of her first pregnancy: “People tried to tell me that I had to choose. That you couldn't be an accomplished athlete and bear a child. That once you hit 30, you had to slow down, stay in your little box and stop daring. I refused to play by those rules. I've chosen my own finish line”. Congratulations!
