Strategic Supply Chain Analyst II (Renewables)
What You Can Expect
The Supply Chain Analyst II (Renewable Energy) is a key contributor in ENGIE North American Renewables Engineering and Delivery team to support the selection and procurement of major category equipment for projects; the primary focus for this role will the commercial scale procurement across battery energy storage systems (BESS), wind turbine generators (WTGs), and Renewable Energy supply chain.
- Every day in this role the Supply Chain Analyst will engage with suppliers to obtain and understand commercial and technical information needed for project qualification, system design, and levelized cost of energy (LCOE) analysis
- Support the development of strategic supply relationship for ENGIE Renewables, working to secure and enhance the company’s competitive advantages
- Support the negotiation of contracts to secure the supply of selected equipment, working collaboratively across internal stakeholders to ensure optimization of the solution and capture of lessons learned
- Assist in administration of requests for quotes and information processes as required
- Monitor vendor delivery and performance, support lessons learned, share critical information with other internal teams
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in which you have learned supply chain management, contracts, negotiations, procurement, business administration, technical specifications, scope of work, or similar based program
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in Renewables Energy in a supply chain function
- Understanding technical product specifications, and experience in commercial negotiations, contracting, and knowledge of financial principles
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and team player; must have the ability to collaborate with others to optimize business processes
- Robust skills in relationship management and effective communication, who can collaborate effectively with senior management
- Excellent organizational and planning skills; keen eye for detail
- Advanced skills with Microsoft products
- Experience with procurement systems and software for supply chain management (SAP, Ariba or Coupa)
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually.
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
