ENGIE Group is particularly proud, through its interim CEO Claire Waysand, to be among the signatories to the Tech for Good Call, which aims to be a catalyst for speeding up the creation and distribution of solutions for a more inclusive and sustainable world.
Launched by French President Emmanuel Macron in 2018, the Tech for Good summit aims to strengthen cooperation and collaboration between players of all sizes, putting innovation, technology and the economy at the service of humanity and the common good. The annual summit in Paris brings together a diverse group of some of the world’s most dynamic business leaders, start-ups and NGOs.
Since the Covid-19 crisis erupted, and after examining the impact of the pandemic on its field of action, the Tech for Good community has come up with concrete proposals to face the new challenges posed by the crisis.
“Whether it is in health, education or the energy transition (...) I am convinced that responsible digital technology is an essential factor for ensuring progress in our societies”
