As part of its “Impact Together” sponsorship and patronage policy, ENGIE is scaling up its partnership with the Fédération Française de Voile and is now an Official Partner.

ENGIE has been affiliated to the Federation since 2017 and has been supporting kitesurfing since 2009. It is now extending its commitment by supporting the Federation’s awareness-raising programmes about environmental issues and protecting marine biodiversity aimed at younger people.

A commitment that is in line with the partnership between ENGIE and the Fédération Française de Voile

For seven years now, ENGIE and the Fédération Française de Voile have been working together on various issues, particularly to do with developing kitesurfing in France. This was how ENGIE became a co-organiser of the national ENGIE Kite Tour, supporting the French kitesurfing championships. The Group has also been sponsoring Alex Caizergues for 15 years, the current kitesurfing speed record holder (107.36 km/h), who retired from the sport the end of 2024.

A new direction placing climate and biodiversity the very heart of the partnership

By extending its commitment, ENGIE is doing even more, developing the initiatives making up its Impact Together programme, and helping the Fédération Française de Voile to expand its own eco-friendly commitments.
