The GEMS Talent Team is currently looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with international experience.

Your impact and your mission: matching the best candidates (internally and externally) with vacancies in different parts of GEMS & ENGIE.

 As an Senior Talent Acquisition in GEMS in Belgium, you will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring the best talent for our organization. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand staffing needs, create effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a smooth recruitment process from start to finish. Your mission will be to build a strong talent pipeline and contribute to the growth of GEMS by sourcing and selecting exceptional candidates.

 

Role:

• Talent Acquisition Strategy: Partner with the HR Business Partner and business leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives and GEMS values.

• Sourcing and Networking: Utilize various channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify and engage with potential candidates.

• Screening and Selection: Conduct thorough candidate assessments and interviews, to identify the best fit for specific roles. As Talent Acquisition Specialist you are responsible for the full recruitment cycle from interview to offer.

• Employer Branding: Promote GEMS as an employer of choice and highlighting our unique value proposition. 

• Candidate Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the recruitment journey.

• Compliance and Diversity: Ensure adherence to recruitment policies, legal requirements, and promote diversity and inclusion in the hiring process.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek feedback and implement improvements to the recruitment process for better efficiency and candidate experience.

Education and professional background:

• You have a degree of higher education in HR or a related filed.

• You have a proven experience as an internal recruiter or a similar recruitment role, preferably within the energy or bank / trading sector & international environment ;

• You have the ability to communicate with different levels of seniority in the organization.

 

Languages:

Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus).

Travels:

Frequent travel to France.

Als ervaren Talent Acquisition bij GEMS in België speel je een sleutelrol bij het identificeren, aantrekken en aannemen van de beste talenten voor onze organisatie. Je werkt nauw samen met rekruteringsmanagers en HR Business Partners om de personeelsbehoeften te begrijpen, effectieve wervingsstrategieën te creëren en te zorgen voor een soepel wervingsproces van begin tot einde.


 Rol:
• Sourcing en netwerken: gebruik verschillende kanalen, zoals vacaturesites, sociale media, professionele netwerken en verwijzingen, om potentiële kandidaten te identificeren en ermee in contact te komen.
• Screening en selectie: voer grondige beoordelingen en interviews met kandidaten uit om de beste kandidaat voor specifieke rollen te identificeren. Als Talent Acquisition Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volledige recruitmentcyclus van sollicitatiegesprek tot aanbieding.
• Employer Branding: GEMS promoten als favoriete werkgever en onze unieke waardepropositie onder de aandacht brengen.
• Kandidaatbetrokkenheid: bouw en onderhoud sterke relaties met kandidaten, zodat ze tijdens het rekruteringstraject op de hoogte en betrokken blijven.
• Naleving en diversiteit: Zorg ervoor dat zowel het wervingsbeleid en de wettelijke vereisten worden nageleefd, en bevorder diversiteit en inclusiviteit in het wervingsproces.
• Continue verbetering: zoek proactief naar feedback en implementeer verbeteringen in het wervingsproces voor een betere efficiëntie en kandidaatervaring.

Vaardigheden:
• Je bent resultaatgericht en niet bang om een stap verder te gaan.
• Je bent autonoom, georganiseerd, nauwgezet en hebt geen bezwaar tegen de administratieve kant van rekrutering.
• Je beschikt over sterke analytische en beoordelingsvaardigheden om toptalent te identificeren.
• Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve en interpersoonlijke vaardigheden.
• Je bent in staat om in een snel veranderende omgeving te werken en meerdere openstaande posities tegelijkertijd te beheren.

 

Opleiding en professionele achtergrond:
• Je beschikt over een diploma hoger onderwijs in HR of een gerelateerd vakgebied.
• Je hebt een aantoonbare ervaring als interne recruiter of een soortgelijke recruitmentrol, bij voorkeur binnen de energie- of bank-/handelssector & internationale omgeving;
• Je hebt het vermogen om te communiceren met verschillende niveaus van anciënniteit in de organisatie.

 

Talen:

 

• Vloeiend in het Engels en Nederlands (Frans is een pluspunt).
